Mornin Bill. I'm moving to Cali in two weeks so I've been up early packing. What are Americans like??? I hear they shoot at each other quite a lot. Are guns cheap there?
|
Sat. 7/16/11 3:36am
Bill Mac:
Morning Larry! Cali might be a good thing, but I'm not sure about all that shooting... I also can't really speak for Americans as a whole, but I haven't seen many guns over the last 50 years. You can get em pretty easy here though, from what I hear.

I thought I also read somewhere in the 2nd amendment of the constitution that people 'have the right to keep and arm bears.' Aren't grizzlies dangerous enought without . . . .

Appreciate the advice. And yes, I'll have to tone my Irish sense of humor down just a tad.

Bill Mac:
Nothing wrong with an Irish sense of humor my friend. Funny though, when my Dad was going to see my brother in law (he sings in an Irish band) at the pub in his neighborhood he liked to pull out a three dollar bill he had in his wallet to pay for his drink.... it was a joke that was unfortunately lost on the bartender....

Probably an Irish bartender. No sense of humor those Irish when it comes to money and beer!!!!

I think everyone loses his sense of humour when it comes to money. Nevermind the beer, I don't drink any.

Bill Mac:
I've been listening to a lot of old F-Mac.... Peter Green always leads his songs with a Hound Dog Taylor lick... good stuff but a bit samey after awhile.... besides, playing Tusk always gives me a chance to play Camper van Beethoven
|
Sat. 7/16/11 5:32am
Bill Mac:
Highly overrated and definitely corny..... but I love the title cut... Camper did there own version of the album, and Tusk is often a "highlight" of their live shows, although I always found that was the best time to go get a beer.
