Prince Rama is definitely a great band to see live. If they aren't coming to a town near you anytime soon, the next best thing is to d/l some free tracks on the FMA:

Mon. 6/27/11 10:34am βrian:

I miss ice cream trucks with bells. No speakers; only bells.

Mon. 6/27/11 10:39am other david:

*nibbles an ice cream*

Really enjoying the show

Mon. 6/27/11 10:43am hamburger / london:

odd career path ice cream truck driving

Mon. 6/27/11 10:45am other david:

A tough one. I suppose if you manage to sell ice creams rather than eat them all yourself (as I would) - you've demonstrated admirable self discipline.

Mon. 6/27/11 10:47am βrian:

Last night, it was coffee ice cream with fresh black cherries. Sublime.

Mon. 6/27/11 10:47am other david:

So I guess a career in guarding bank vaults could follow

Mon. 6/27/11 10:48am Carmichael:

Good morning Liz and ice cream lovers. Got my swag on Friday, WOO HOO!!

Is the main page loading incorrectly for anyone besides me? I have to scroll down to the bottom to find the info. I use IE8.

Mon. 6/27/11 10:49am hamburger / london:

download firefox or chrome now Carmichael!

Mon. 6/27/11 10:50am other david:

Morning Carmichael - seems ok here, using chromium

Mon. 6/27/11 10:53am Carmichael:

Hmmm, noticed it on my home computer as well, beginning on Friday. I'll ask Kenzo.

Mon. 6/27/11 10:56am Liz B.:

I'll get Adler on the scene, thanks for the report, Carmichael!

Mon. 6/27/11 10:56am Marmalade kitty:

Carmichael, me too.O..?

Mon. 6/27/11 10:56am jk:

this song is dope

Mon. 6/27/11 11:01am Carmichael:

Thank YOU, Liz!

Mon. 6/27/11 11:03am Dead Corporate Eyes:

yes, Carmichael, I noticed the same thing.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:04am Dead Corporate Eyes:

it was right after my machine froze up big time and assumed it was related to that

Mon. 6/27/11 11:05am Liz B.:

Ken says he fixed the problem. Try reloading and lemme know if it's all good now.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:05am Dead Corporate Eyes:

Liz, just noticed today's tag line and couldn't agree more...I've had a crazy relationship with radio since I was a kid with my Coors-can AM perched on my chest at bedtime.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:06am Dead Corporate Eyes:

yep it be fixed

Mon. 6/27/11 11:09am Dead Corporate Eyes:

Mon. 6/27/11 11:10am Liz B.:

Thanks for all the reports, folks! Sometimes we don't know there's a problem until someone speaks up.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:13am BSI:

Jeezus, DCE, you inspired me to find my own first love, radio-wise, and goddamned internet, I found it: http://tinyurl.com/3cvr23j ... oh holy 1970s...

Mon. 6/27/11 11:14am Caqrmichael:

Yes, it's now back to it's former glory. Thanks WFMU techies!

Mon. 6/27/11 11:15am Dead Corporate Eyes:

totally sweet, BSI!

Mon. 6/27/11 11:15am zoot:

This reminds me of "Everything Reminds Me of My Dog," by Jane Siberry, but, come to think of it, everything reminds me of my dog.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:15am hamburger / london:

hehe reallies

Mon. 6/27/11 11:38am J J:

So this is what Fucked Up sounds like. I'd probably like it better if I was like 15.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:39am andymorphic:

i don't get the hype...its alright....pretty basic

Mon. 6/27/11 11:41am J J:

not that it's bad, just has that I'm yelling because I'm angry but I'm not sure what for sound.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:43am herb:

wow, this is the FIRST time i'm hearing FUCKED UP. great song! singer was on ph. with TOM SCHARPLING last wk & such a nice guy.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:46am Mike East:

I just put Fucked Up on a mixtape I made yesterday. I agree that I would have liked them better when I was 15, but sometimes it feels good to relive those days....which is why I still make mixtapes, although in digital form.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:55am cee dubbles:

i think you gave the wrong studio phone number!

Mon. 6/27/11 11:56am Liz B.:

You may be thinking of the on-air phone #, Cee. I gave out the non-on-air #.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:56am LexRay:

Thanks Liz Burg!!!!You guys rock my life!

Mon. 6/27/11 11:57am cee dubbles:

I hafta get on the road early-squirrelly Satuday so no Feelies Friday for me anyway :<[

Mon. 6/27/11 11:57am Carmichael:

Thanks for everything, Liz.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:57am J J:

@MikeEast I hear you. I miss that website muxtape, the first version, when you could upload a playlist of whatever songs you wanted and send it to people. Could make as may lists you wanted only you had to use a new email each time. I must have a hundred gmail accounts I've forgotten about.

Mon. 6/27/11 11:57am other david:

Really enjoyed the show Liz, thanks for the great music!

Mon. 6/27/11 11:59am Dead Corporate Eyes:

lovely ending!

Mon. 6/27/11 11:59am J J:

Yeah, thanks Liz for mining the archives for me.

Mon. 6/27/11 12:00pm Liz B.:

Thanks everybody, you've made my Monday a great one so far!

Mon. 6/27/11 12:00pm Mike East:

@J J - I've heard of sites like that....I think there there are still some around - my cousin sent me a few of her mixes from one. I actually spin the records and digitize them, and back-announce what I play, which is more time consuming, but a fun way to spend a Sunday.

Tue. 6/28/11 12:19pm thejustin:

Liz, stank you berry much for playing a song by my band. So as to avoid any ethical quandaries, I'll let you assume my band is Crystal Waters. Gracias!
