Listener comments!

  3:08pm
Mike East:

Minnesota Jeff has outdone himself
  3:09pm
DJ KG:

totes.
  3:10pm
Adam in Portland:

I truly miss Billy Jam's show on the schedule, but for listener me, and those like listener me, I believe that putting Kurt on after Bryce is the most inspired pairing I'm aware of on WFMU. Six hours of where am I going, and where have I been. I am going to fall deep for this.
  3:10pm
BodegaMan:

for your drive at 5 it just has to be MAXIMUM MINOTAUR!
  3:11pm
DJ KG:

aw, thanks adam.

and hey bodega!

and hey everyone else, too.
  3:13pm
15M-Spanish revolution:

Sorry to disrupt, Kurt but this has to be known (not hidden by mass-media):

You just have to see what's going on in Spain, almost everyday since the 15th of may and in every city.

The Hustle! Oh, no, it's 1973 again! My face! My face is gonna start breaking out!
  3:14pm
Parq:

Wait, doesn't that mean I'm gonna have hair again? That would be pretty nifty, actually.
  3:16pm
Adam in Portland:

DJ KG: of course, of course. I am quite anxious for Billy Jam time again, but hopefully the schedule can be juggled to keep you and Bryce adjoined. This pairing could tug the future into the now.
  3:17pm
Nate in Detroit:

What Adam said!
  3:18pm
Swami:

Demented graphic Minnesota Jeff! That distressed child makes me nervous!
Kurdt! Great stuff!
  3:19pm
Handsome Harry:

Damn it I'm late. Minnesota Jeff - I have no words to describe the feelings that your latest work has stirred within the confines of my cold corporate soul. My hat goes off....and remains off.
  3:21pm
12539:

Indeed, "Minnesota Jeff has outdone himself," yet again.
  3:21pm
DJ KG:

... out of kenny g's shadow and into billy jam's. *sigh*
  3:21pm
Minnesota Jeff:

Fact: If you shove some quarters into any port on your computer you can play "MAXimum Minotaurs" Just start shoving some credits in!
  3:22pm
Adam in Portland:

DJ KG: I just cannot figure out which one of you two is Slayer, and which one Megadeth. Hmmmm?
  3:24pm
To The Max:

saddened by cowards:

@ 15M-Spanish revolution.... not many people want to know until it's their head thats being bashed in by a coward in riot gear .. barcelona a few weeks ago-- total coward pigshits beating women and old people for just sitting there made my fuckin blood boil ,,,, >sighs< ahh well back to the "music"....
  3:28pm

Re: Emergency Alert - So that's what raptors sound like!
  3:31pm
Adam in Portland:

@saddened by cowards,@15-min Spanish revolution: mere "music" can inspire all sorts of revolution. Honey? Vinegar? Wheat paste? Blood?
  3:32pm
saddened by cowards:

i aint dissing music--it's my life
  3:34pm
Adam in Portland:

@saddened by cowards: Nor am I intentionally dissing you. Just listening to music and thinking about actions.
  3:36pm
Mike East:

Thanks volunteers! Send me my shit!
  3:36pm
Adam in Portland:

Lilah is one cool and helpful kid!
  3:39pm
Mike East:

  3:39pm
Adam in Portland:

None of those warnings affect my county, but I'm still putting liquids away.
  3:41pm
Adam in Portland:

DJ KG: THAT is just frrrrrrrrrrrreaky! I was also thinking of Everybody Wants Blahhh blahhh blah. Haha.
  3:49pm
northguineahills:

Fuck yeah! it's Crito!
  3:51pm
DJ KG:

whoa! n. guinea! i met you years ago at subtonic. still have a cd-r of yours!
  3:53pm
Cecile:

Hi, all!

I like that you included a picture of a child with what looks like a Papillon. They are great dogs.
  3:55pm
Cecile:

And what Mike East said. I am patient, but would like some goodies soon!!!!!
  3:55pm
moose:

a friend just emailed me this video link

'trust me'

  3:55pm
northguineahills:

Holy potato wafers. That was a long time ago. I remember that. Don't do too much left-field turntabilism any more, mostly just ensemble-based electro-acoustic improv. Didn't know anyone still had one of those cd-rs. Thanks.
  3:56pm
Cecile:

MN jeff, how did this collaboration with Kurt come about? It's so natural, I don't remember his playlist without your art.
  3:56pm
Das:

Aw man, you know how hard it is to get this song out of your head!
  4:00pm
Cecile:

well, it's not like you moved to Tibet. Just to Fridays.
  4:02pm
Mike East:

@Cecile - My 6 yr old has been asking for a Papillon for a few years now. Funny to me that she even knows what one is and how to pronounce it. I keep telling her a dog with a fancy name like that is probably too expensive for us.
  4:03pm
Minnesota Jeff:

Cecile: I adopted the playlist during the marathon. He said he was looking for someone to provide visual content for the playlist. And I made the commitment!
  4:03pm
Papillon:

@Cecile: Hey, you bastards, I'm still here. Working on escape plans, though.
  4:03pm
Minos:

All Cretans are liars.
  4:03pm
Dead Corporate Eyes:

great illustration, MN JF
  4:03pm
Hubba:

OMG... If you play "Sun shines Out of Your Shoes" I'll crap my pants... and I'll do it with absolute silence. Nice to meet you!
  4:04pm
Minnesota Jeff:

A papillion is a dog? I thought it was a butterfly, and thats why he was called Papillion in the movie Papillion. Or something.
  4:05pm
Gaiwan:

Maximum Minotaurs! And leaping lizards with purple mouths. Awesome!
  4:05pm
Cecile:

there are Pap rescues. If you are kind but firm with them and give them lots of exercise they are fantastic. Free of hereditary diseases, and very smart and talented. They make great service dogs. They are called Papillons because of their butterfly ears. Their cousins with floppy ears are called Phalenes.
  4:05pm
Handsome Harry:

I also had no idea it was a four-legged friend.
  4:05pm
Cecile:

Your child has good taste, Mike East.
  4:07pm
Cecile:

Well, anyway, MN Jeff, keep those cool graphics coming...
  4:07pm
Minnesota Jeff:

Thanks Cecile.
  4:08pm
12539:

@Mike, if you want a pet with a fancy name, get your kid a miniature minotaur instead.
  4:09pm
Cecile:

Kurt would know about rescues for those, too.
  4:10pm
DJ KG:

if you rescue a miniature minotaur you can keep it in a jelly jar, but you must be sure to poke holes in the lid with a ball point pen so air can get in and even so it will die by morning.
  4:11pm
Cecile:

Can you fry it up with a magnifying glass held up to the sun?
  4:12pm
Mini M's:

We're free spirits.
  4:12pm
Cecile:

free spirit with purchase
  4:14pm
BodegaMan:

I'm glad 420 isn't mandatory - won't work well at my job. But a smooth 420 shout out occasionally could be a nice homage to Billy Jam
  4:17pm
Minnesota Jeff:

KRALLLLLLLICE!!!
  4:18pm
Handsome Harry:

Nice tune. Horns Up. Minotaurs Unleashed.
  4:19pm
OOOOOOOO:

TASTE THE BEAST
  4:19pm
SiHV:

Well, this is a change from Billy Jam. Cool with me tho.
  4:21pm
Cecile:

It's not quite the same, but Duane on Wednesdays does fill some of the void.
  4:21pm
J J:

Wouldn't mind hearing some Kurt freestyle rapping though.
  4:22pm
ami:
