The Push Bin is a collection of sounds recommended to keep your body twitching and your head throbbing. Beats, people yelling, noise, horror movie soundtracks, dub, rock, experimental, and hip-hop will all be mixed into one huge wonderful mess. All delivered in a highly caffeinated and friendly manner.

marq:

wow Lou. you have a radio voice with a voice that says no radio. you have got to have the most manly voice on wfmu with out trying to sound like a radio guy...if that makes sense.
  9:21pm
Lou Z:

Thank Marq....While reading your comment I was eating a raw piece of meat and drinking clamato juice.
  9:23pm
badg:

Ha ha goddamn I just spilt my morning beer all over my cubicle
  9:28pm
marq:

beating your meat while sipping raw clam juice I think is more manly...don't know..never tried it. but more manly if you have a beard. Scott W any comment?
  9:33pm
12539:

I must admit I was a little worried when I saw that EFD wasn't here, but it looks, or should I say it sounds, as if we are in good hands.
  9:43pm
bennett4senate:

hey Lou Z keep doing these good things on the airwaves, its all sounding great
  9:44pm
fleep:

@12539 This man could have traveled from Cleveland with a flash drive, but instead he *schlepped vinyl* for our amusement. Greater love hath no DJ.
  9:45pm
15M-Spanish revolution:

You just have to see what's going on in Spain, almost everyday sinve the 15th of may and in every city.

marq:

wonder how guys who are clam farmers explain to women when dating what it is that they do. Not as clear as lobstermen, fishermen, going out for crabs on the sea etc. because clams are usually in a farm in a bed of water. "well I just go down and check on em' if one opens up I tell it a story, even better if several open up and I tell all a great story, they all seem to understand my bubbly voice under the water, cause they are under water and used to this sort of thing, I tell them to not worry about being eaten and that only the delish ones have beards.
  9:53pm
blacktooth:

Hey, absolutely slammin' set. Including the well-placed silence. A funky-blast trip around the globe. Keep up the good hustle.
  9:55pm
Marmalade Kitty:

@blacktooth: I was just thinking the same thing! Nice show, Lou
  9:56pm
Ike:

Yeah, that last set was magical!
  9:57pm
blacktooth:

rub the dj the right way to induce proper soundage...
  10:01pm
joe mulligan:

friggin great show!
  10:02pm
Lou Z:

Wow Guys and Gals...thanks for all the compliments! I'll try to keep it up.
  10:07pm
marq:

hey joe mulligan: some local bar owners in our town have a few "pubs" around with some for the local yocals in ind for business. I always call these places McMullets. because they are always full of people who tolerate or even actually have mulletts. What a great place for them to hang out ....McMullett's!!!
  10:10pm
joe mulligan:

I'm ok with mullets, especially if you can fill a pub with them
  10:10pm
Marmalade Kitty:

shoe gaze!!
  10:11pm
Pete in LA:

so far, so awesome
  10:12pm
Marmalade Kitty:

Where are Belong from?
  10:13pm

  10:16pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

What the? EFD is off somewhere watching hockey tonight?
  10:17pm
marq:

wonder how if how and now a best mullet contest would be judged. it doesn't seem like it would be as easy or as simple as a best beard contest. with beards you have a face to go with. with mullet what exactly do you have, teeth, ears, cigarette burned neck?
  10:18pm
Marmalade Kitty:

A shoe gaze resurgence in New orleans?
void human shells is a good name for a band or not?
  10:20pm
B. LaBonte:

Lou Z in the HAUS. Soundin' good, m'man.
  10:23pm
marq:

  10:23pm
Marmalade Kitty:

sorry!! thought that was a slang,, Nawlins Atlanta? not Louisiana..
  10:26pm
joe mulligan:

@MK Yes, a shoe gaze resurgence in New orleans! love it when weird shit like that happens.
  10:30pm
marq:

boom boom boom goes Lou Z's voice, boom boom boom goes it smooth and nice, on wfmu, his boom creates a vice, in a vase, for listeners wanting more, I only say boom because his voice vibrates as bass, to ears like mine, the sounds he plays, just as good
  10:32pm
Holly in NC:

Yay Kid Congo! Thank you,
  10:34pm
Adam in Portland:

Kid Congo: always soooooo dependable.
  10:37pm

  10:57pm
Adam in Portland:

  10:57pm
Adam in Portland:

Stevel: ;-)
  10:59pm
blacktooth:

  11:13pm
Adam in Portland:

Wow! Right on!!! Thought you might have been THE LOU! If you keep in touch, please pass along a warm hello to White (Trash). I bet she might be able to figure out who I am/was/will probably remain. :-))) Great job tonight, from one with strong ties to Cleveland to another.

jack m.:

hey lou, i just remembered you were on (got caught up watching the stanley cup champion bruins!). will catch the show tomorrow on the archive, always good to hear you back on the air.
  11:44pm
Aharon:

Is that a Chicago accent?
  11:45pm
Lou Z:

Ha! No Aharon...That's pure Cleveland.
  11:48pm
Aharon:

Apologies! (I think). Cleveland has a very protean accent; it sounds like both upstate New York (well, Rochester+Syracuse) and Chicago. To my untrained ear, anyway. Anyway, god bless 'em, every one.
  11:58pm
12539:

Mr Lou, this has been a charmed few hours! Please do come back again soon.
