"I was stolen by the gypsies. My parents stole me back. Then the gypsies stole me again. This went on for some time" - Charles Simic

Julie:
yellow pollen in the grooves? Oh dear
|
Mon. 6/6/11 10:19pm
Dan B:
Yeah, I bought a ton of used records, some without jackets, and they all smell a bit mildewy and I had to put them out on the porch to air out. But of course, the air is completely full of thick yellow pollen these days. At least most of them will be able to just be wiped off. Maybe pollen eats mildew? #Wishfulthinking

Taylor:
Speaking of poetry, Meryn Cadell is now a man and very happily living and teaching in Vancouver! I am delighted he's found himself. Now I just wish I could find "6 Blocks".

woken to the sound of Ray Manzareks screaming Vox Organ!! (The Doors not to touch the Earth) What does this mean? Sleep paralysis with hypnopompic imagery.. just a product of REM functions outlasting your sleep a bit -- nothing to worry about.. !! It felt like I was having a stroke!
|
Mon. 6/6/11 10:49pm
Dan B:
@MK, weird. I hope Airborne Event bears some responsibility for this.
|

I love the intensity of dreams, but I don't like the stroke paralysis thing. I think It's worse when you try to force yourself to wake up, but you can't due to the paralysis.. O.o FREDDIE!!

I personally get DNA samples from all the WFMU DJs -- I'm working on a sort of Frankenstein/Ubermensch DJ-of-the-Future. (It's a dystopian future, but at least the music's GREAT!)
