Hello Jeff! Have you met Jesus yet?
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:34am jeff-m:

Morning guys, no Jesus never came over to today. We were supposed to listen to the baseball game together on the radio. made food and everything
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:38am Looms:

Damn'! I sympathize, man. These preachers are not to be trusted...
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:42am D. Blumin:

Actually, we DID meet Jesus, Looms. But Jeff is a little too modest to say so... We have been raptured and are quite happy. Thank you for asking...
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:48am Looms:

Wow, now that's a good news, Daniel! Hope you guys didn't drink too much water ;)
Serious question: do I have time to get some bread before Robin Storey starts playing (don't wanna miss a single minute of the set)
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:49am jeff-m:

think so, maybe be in 45 minutes or so
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:50am Looms:

Perfect, thx.
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:52am D. Blumin:

What kinda bread we talkin about here? Not sure whether you are allowed to eat leavened bread so close to the failed rapture!
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:57am hamburger / london:

hurdy gurdy! wow. bible be all specific on bread too??
  Sun. 5/22/11 3:58am jeff-m:

guess so. I had naan today so I think I'm covered
  Sun. 5/22/11 4:00am D. Blumin:

You have to be precise if you want to make sure you're on board fer the REAL second coming, Hamburger! Very important - beware of Belgian waffles in this hour of spiritual need.
  Sun. 5/22/11 4:03am hamburger / london:

how about malted hops and barley, bible got anything against that?
  Sun. 5/22/11 4:07am D. Blumin:

You are ok there, Hamburger... As long as you don't overindulge in the barley...
  Sun. 5/22/11 4:13am Looms:

Oh man, I already ate some bread on my way back! I'm hearing the trumpets of doom!! HEEEELP!!!!
  Sun. 5/22/11 4:15am D. Blumin:

Take it easy, Looms. Reuters reports: Judgment Day a dud. Eat your bread in peace...
  Sun. 5/22/11 4:27am Looms:

Okay then, but you guys made me sweat.

Beautiful sounds by Promute.
  Sun. 5/22/11 4:50am Bas, NL:

Unfashionably late and recovering from a great festival yesterday.. how better to wake up to the amazing sounds of Rapoon!!! This is awesome!
  Sun. 5/22/11 4:54am jeff-m:

morning Bas, glad you are enjoying yourself
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:03am superhate:

  Sun. 5/22/11 5:10am Looms:

Aaaahhh, that was good!
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:12am jeff-m:

glad you enjoyed it man
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:16am Looms:

Love his work. To me, he's responsible for the best part of ZF recordings too.
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:18am D in Miami:

Such ambient goodness for the morning.
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:21am Looms:

Whereas Christophe Charles, I was introduced to his work with this very track (great comp btw). Most of his recordings is available as free download on his website http://home.att.ne.jp/grape/charles/
Losts of amazing sounds are to be found there.
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:23am jeff-m:

Morning D, sun's just coming up here
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:25am jeff-m:

first I heard of him Looms. found this comp in the library tonight while I was waiting to go on.

thx for the link. want to hear more
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:27am Bas, NL:

@Looms: Thanks for that link!
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:28am jeff-m:

and yes i play too much bj nilsen...
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:30am Looms:

Welcome guys.
I also recommend "dok" by Oval (on thrill Jockey). Markus Popp used a lot a sounds and field recordings by Charles.
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:32am Looms:

You can play BJ Nilsen as mush as you want (as far as i'm concerned anyway)
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:35am Bas, NL:

Ditto on BJ Nilsen!!
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:40am Looms:

What festival was it yesterday, Bas?
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:47am Bas, NL:

It was a sadly poorly advertised festival 'Electronic Frequencies' in Amsterdam by Dutch free-form station 'concertzender' and the STEIM institute. All and everything on the history of electronic music and composing. Lots of modern 'live' acts and readings on composing then and now.
It was a very interesting day! He, he.. and i got a good pile of CDs to proof it. Even bought an original STEIM 'Cracklebox'.
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:53am Looms:

Nice. Enjoy your brand new toy, man! Must be quite funny to play this thing.

Thanks for this great show, Jeff.
  Sun. 5/22/11 5:57am superhate:
