Not to over-analyze this or anything (ha ha), but... 1. "Here's the joke, when I awoke, I had to get to work on time" is far superior to "I had to hit the streets and get to work," or whatever Bill Haley sang. And 2, for someone to hear the Bill Haley version and turn it into this (the Renegades' version) is still sheer genius as far as I'm concerned. | |
