  Wed. 4/6/11 7:05pm glenn:

  Wed. 4/6/11 7:05pm Interwebs:

"one of Atlantic Canada's newest and premier music events, The International Ukulele Ceilidh in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. The First International Ceilidh in 2005 was a resounding success with participants and ukulele fans, who call themselves "ukesters", coming from across Canada and around the world for the three day event."
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:05pm glenn:

or, at least, it was his program.
Wed. 4/6/11 7:05pm andy in Nova Scotia:

Yes I am. Orignially from next door to East Orange, grew up occasionally listening to fmu in the 70's, now in NS, Canada. Hi Glenn.
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:06pm glenn:

  Wed. 4/6/11 7:07pm glenn:

and also : GIVE 'ER!
Wed. 4/6/11 7:10pm andy in Nova Scotia:

Very common in NS- give 'er; and I DO often hear 'eh and aboot, really, but I think it's more Ontarian; lots of transplants and summer visitors from Ontario here in Canada's Ocean (and jobless) Playground.
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:16pm glenn:

it's bad out there huh? there's a lot of wealthy people though. have you ever seen rivers and tides, the documentary about the sculptor andy goldsworthy?
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:17pm glenn:

shouldn't that be atari teenage riot?
Wed. 4/6/11 7:19pm Andy in Nova Scotia:

I have Rivers and Tides in my computer. As a matter of fact, I was just thinking about it today, honest.
I'm working this spring and summer part time down past Liverpool. Gorgeous ocean that way, not many people.
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:21pm trent:

thanks for the tip glenn. i'm really enjoying y'alls conversation and hoping the music helps get the words flowing between you two
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:23pm glenn:

it's a great doc, one of my faves. he's a guy who suffers for his art, that's for sure.
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:25pm glenn:

anyway, in the beginning, when he's in nova scotia, and the old guy comes up and starts talking to him - that old guys got the best eyebrows ever.
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:34pm MuttonChops:

  Wed. 4/6/11 7:36pm MuttonChops:

Wide like my tie or my gut
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:40pm MuttonChops:

This capsule song sounds like a cross between Kenneth Keith Kallenbach "Drinking Beers and Smoking Weed" and the Great Adventure commercial
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:41pm bennett4senate:

Wed. 4/6/11 7:42pm Andy in Nova Scotia:

I don't remember the bushy eyebrows but I do remember him... that movie's all about moods. Nature moods. I love it. 'Cuz I'm a nature boy.

gotta pursue supper. Thanks for the good show, Trent!
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:47pm glenn:

in nova scotia , pursuing supper COULD involve going out the back door with a shotgun.
  Wed. 4/6/11 7:49pm trent:

Wed. 4/6/11 7:50pm Andy in Nova Scotia:
