one thing you get from these versions is just how much TAMER all of them sound than the original. say what you want about the rolling stones, they could bring pissed-off in bucketloads.

oh, i love the reinventions. i didn't mean i thought the covers were worse 'cause they mostly didn't have the bite of the original. i just think one of the great things about the rolling stones is the threatening undercurrent of a lot of their best stuff.
