Listener comments!

Mon. 1/10/11 9:07pm Richard from Venezuela:

Good Night Dan.

Mon. 1/10/11 9:08pm Chris:

Recently got into Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy), so I'm pretty psyched that you started the show off with my favorite track!

Mon. 1/10/11 9:14pm Richard from Venezuela:

Sta. Apolonia EP on Free Music Archive is awesome.

Mon. 1/10/11 9:16pm Dan B:

Hey Chris & Richard

Mon. 1/10/11 9:20pm Dan B:

@Chris, I use that tune to open the show every week. It's still growing on me after many many years of listening!

Mon. 1/10/11 9:21pm Rory:

Thank you Mike Alder for restoring the pop-up player. Woo Hoo!

Mon. 1/10/11 9:27pm Rick:

The opening track is still growing on me too! For me for some reason this evening, the instramental part had more of a rodeo/ bucking bronco sound, which I never thought of before.

Mon. 1/10/11 9:28pm Marmalade Kitty:

what year was "Tickety-Boo" released? great track :)

Mon. 1/10/11 9:44pm ken:

wow is wmfu great, i remember playing jandek back in the early 80;s at U of Md's station.

Mon. 1/10/11 9:46pm Marmalade Kitty:

sorry :) could you tell me again what year "Tickety-Boo" was released please?

Mon. 1/10/11 9:47pm monte:

missing you in my sunday mornings, but happy to get a musically induced coma now.

Mon. 1/10/11 9:47pm Dan B:

@MK, Tickety-Boo came out in 2010 -- on Important Records -- importantrecords.com

Mon. 1/10/11 9:47pm Dan B:

@Monte, thanks for checking in. I shall endeavor to supply that rarest of mental states

Mon. 1/10/11 9:48pm Dan B:

@ken, yes, Jandek is everywhere! Jandek rules! I am Jandek and Jandek is me!

Mon. 1/10/11 9:51pm Marmalade Kitty:

Thank you Dan x

Mon. 1/10/11 9:53pm Rick:

Wow

Mon. 1/10/11 9:57pm Listener Bill:

Great show!

Mon. 1/10/11 10:00pm Dan B:

@Rick, Bill, thanks

Mon. 1/10/11 10:14pm monte:

just by way of encouragement: "vitamin C" is how i put down songs that get stuck in my head, and your hoof & mouth version put you in good stead with me for all time.

Mon. 1/10/11 10:29pm Rick:

Yes!

Mon. 1/10/11 10:35pm Rick:

Is there such a wisdom to cast an umbrella over Jandek? I think maybe not.

Mon. 1/10/11 10:38pm will:

I forgot how difficult and dense your show can be, Dan Bodah, but I will be try to be here always and forever for mind expansion, Will J

Mon. 1/10/11 10:41pm Jandek:

@Listeners, I apologize on Dan's behalf. Yours in utmost sincerity, Jandek.

Mon. 1/10/11 11:01pm Rick:

Loving the Jandek, Dan. My last comment was just teasing you about the show's title tonight.

Mon. 1/10/11 11:19pm Ike:

Blurp!

Mon. 1/10/11 11:23pm Rick:

The piano sounds have a bit of the rodeo effect I heard at the start in The true wheel!

Mon. 1/10/11 11:44pm Rick:

I love "potential titles". A favorite example is George Carlin, "Book Club", from "a place for my stuff", a lot of very gifted dis-jointed lingo in quick succession, a fun listen!

Mon. 1/10/11 11:56pm Dan B:

Thanks all! See you next week
