Sat. 1/8/11 3:14am
Looms:
Hello Bill! Best wishes for 2011. Nice to hear fave artists of mine (NWW, Liles) in this early morning. I'm glad the postman woke us so early.
|
Sat. 1/8/11 3:25am
Bill Mac:
Hey Looms, yeah it's time to get back to the new stuff and reissues that we're famous for. Enjoy the show!
|
Sat. 1/8/11 3:39am
?:
Enjoying it indeed. | |
|
Sat. 1/8/11 4:16am
Looms:
With some delay, the Liles track title is Orville's Engastrimythic Divinations (or Orville's Engastrimythie Divinations) . Easier to decipher once the inner plastic gatefold has been pulled out. Reading it almost gave me a headache though.
|
Sat. 1/8/11 4:25am
Larry:
Morning Bill. Listening from bed today. Too cold and lazy to get up. Hope you're well.
|
Sat. 1/8/11 4:29am
Emile:
Wow - awesome track. | |
|
Sat. 1/8/11 4:43am
Bill Mac:

|

|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:16am
Larry:
Great! Is that The Fall of Rome, or of Hull?
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:17am
Bill Mac:
It's THE FALL!!! | |
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:21am
Larry:
I love Mark E. Smith. He's the antidote to Popstars
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:22am
Looms:
One of my biggest music lover affliction is to be unable to remember where i left my copy of Levitate (maybe my fave record by The Fall) :(
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:22am
Bill Mac:
Perfect Larry, you nailed it.
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:25am
Bill Mac:
I was just talking to DJ Rich about where to start with the Falls massive discography.... I like the earlier stuff but I've never created the opportunity to focus on any one album
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:27am
blacktooth:
When you've written like, 2.000 songs (as Mark E. Smith has) where the hell do you start? You don't. You just dig in.
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:27am
Larry:
That's probably because he's recorded about fifty albums give or take a couple.
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:35am
Bill Mac:
I should definitely take a less measured approached... thought there might be a landmark album or something
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:36am
Looms:
I did like Blackbooth said and i haven't been disappointed yet, but Hex Enduction Hour and The Light User Syndrome might be a nice start.
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:36am
Larry:
A request Bill; more 'music behind the dj' type music! That music is so cool. Or not!
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:39am
blacktooth:
For every annoying Fall song, there's 5 you'll fall in love with. And then, usually, you'll end up liking the one that annoyed you in the first place.
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:42am
Bill Mac:
Thanks Looms, just read your tips...
|
Sat. 1/8/11 5:43am
Emile:

|
