let it set overnight and then stick it in the oven the next evening.
it`s served with rice, krautsalat, gurkins and baguette....

  4:19pm
A translation taken off the WWW:

Maybe a translation would be in order, for all you francophobes out there. These are the lyrics from Nick Cave's english version of the song.

I love you, I love you, Oh yes I love you
Nor do I
Oh my love
Like the wave, irresolute
I go, I go and I come, Inside you my love
I go and I come, Inside you my love
And then I hold on

I love you, I love you, Oh Yes I love you
Nor do I
You are the wave, And I the naked island
You go, you go and you come, inside me me love
you go and you come inside me my love
and then we are one

I love you, I love you, Oh yes I love you
Nor do I
Oh my love
Like the wave, irresolute
I go, i go and I come, Inside you my love
I go and I come, Inside you my love
And then I hold on

I love, I love you my love, Inside me my love
I love you my love, Deep inside me my love
And then we are one

I love you, I love you, Oh yes I love
Nor do I
Oh my love
Physical love is a dead end
I go, I go and I come, Inside you my love
I go and I come
And I hold on

No. Now...come

English
Je t’aime… Mon non plus
I love you, I love you
Oh, yes I love you!
No longer me
Oh, my love…
Like the undecided wave
I go, I go and I come
Between your back
I go and I come
Between your back
And I hold back.

I love you, I love you
Oh, yes I love you!
no longer me
Oh, my love…
You are the wave, I’m the naked island
You go, you go and you come
Between my back
You go and you come
Between my back
And I rejoin you.

I love you, I love you
Oh, yes I love you!
no longer me
Oh, my love…
Like the undecided wave
I go, I go and I come
Between your back
I go and I come
Between your back
And I hold back.

You go, you go and you come
Between my back
You go and you come
Between my back
And I rejoin you.

I love you, I love you
Oh, yes I love you!
No longer me
Oh, my love…
The physical love is without a way out
I go, I go and I come
Between your back
I go and I come back
And I hold back
No! Now come!

Garrison:

Earlier in the 00s I spent part of a summer in Kreutzb. on Adalbertstrasse half a block east of where the wall had run. It was still pretty funky and cheap. Dive bars, doner kebab stands, cheap apartments.

  5:09pm
Cecile:

You can live in Upper Michigan. It's still cheap and you have plenty of time because there is absolutely nothing going on. Nothing!
  5:11pm
NYC Cockroaches:

We get by. What's the problem?
  5:13pm

Yeah, we had a joke in the 80s - will the last person to leave Michigan please turn out the lights?
  5:15pm
Seamus:

I think Jeff Daniels will leave last
  5:17pm
Cecile:

Yeah. It might not be long. My sis moved out of Saline with her gang to Texas - that was the nearest state where she could find a good job in her field.
  5:18pm

hi Fabio! WOW looking at thee playlist and comments, what a fantastic show! so bummed that i missed it -- will have to catch up on the archives! (ha ha! re: lyrics; years ago i worked with a young woman from Canada -- Quebec, i think? but she was fluent in French, was giggling when she heard "Je T'aime Moi Non Plus," she said that the translation was something like, "I'm coming! I'm coming in your hand!" etc.) HAPPY HOLLY-DAZE and JOYOUS NEW YEAR!
