Listener comments!

  9:07am
Josh RVA:

Give the jazz some
  9:44am
Chris from DC:

I have got to pick up this Murralin Lane record. Stops me in my tracks every time.
  9:46am
Scott:

Hi Chris, how are you?
  9:47am
Chris from DC:

Hanging in there, mighty glad it's Friday.
  9:50am
tim:

Is this Richard Thompson Fairport Convention? I'm a little green yet with my British Isles knowledge.
  9:51am
Cecile:

mornin' all.
  10:00am
robin the fog:

Greetings from jolly old London! This is a perfect soundtrack for a mid-afternoon cookery disaster! Lovely stuff, more please!
  10:11am
Scott:

Hi Robin, more on the way!
  10:40am
Andrew:

Yes that is Richard Thompson era Fairport.
  10:44am
robin the fog:

As I anticipated, I completely burnt that crap out of my stir-fry. Currently trying to work out if those beeps are from this track or my smoke detector!
  11:01am
tim:

Wow, is this Villalobos from a 12" or full length album? This is really good.
  11:01am
...:

I don't hear any beeps, but at least that explains that smell suddenly coming from my radio.
  11:06am
...:

which smell is now getting VERY funky.
  11:07am
Scott:

Villalobos is from a full-length (I guess, it's one 38min track). The original doesn't have the echo or monkey sounds, though :)
  11:08am
Cecile:

The monkey sounds make it.
  11:09am
clyde stubblefied:

this is f@#$%ing sick
  11:11am
robin the fog:

A touch too much ginger, I fear. Damn, this Joe McPhee track is kicking my ass all over what's left of my kitchen!! :-0
  11:13am
tim:

Thanks Scott. I'm still going to seek it out even if it won't be the monkey remix.
  11:18am
clyde stubblefied:

killer seg into Morocan Shepp-- i like you better than Doug
  11:20am
robin the fog:

You know what the worst thing about listening online is? It's only a hop, skip and jump from reading the playlist to visiting Amazon and parting with your rent money!
  11:21am
Chris from DC:

Pretty sure I'll be visiting a couple of online merchants after the show.
  11:25am
Cecile:

they should just put links in the playlist.

Nice, Scott. An Unheard Music kind of morning.
  11:30am
Scott:

I think that you can actually buy from iTunes on the WFMU iPhone app as you're listening. I could be wrong about that, anyone know?
  11:41am
QSP:

I have an Android phone, but according to the Wfmu blog: "You can now favorite songs within the app and purchase them directly from iTunes."
  11:42am
robin the fog:

I'm old school. I just have to have the physical format. I've lost too many files!
  11:45am
Cecile:

robin, I need a combination, but yeah.
  11:49am
robin the fog:

I hear you, Cecile. And when I can't get into my room anymore for the piles of CDs and vinyl blocking the door, I'll probably change my mind! Actually, a few more afternoons listening to this show and that might not be far off! ;-)
  11:51am
QSP:

I find I only have limited time for my stockpiles because the radio is too good too often. Like this morning.
  11:53am
andrew morgan:

yes! love this album so much
  11:54am
Marshall Stacks:

Sonny left us way too soon.
  11:56am
robin the fog:

Agreed. Thanks for an awesome show, Scott, totally brightened up my day! Will be back!
  11:58am
Scott:

Thanks, everyone! See ya next time!
  10:05pm
mike ret tp:
