You've given me more tips than I could ever count. I looked it up in John Goldsby's "The Jazz Bass Book," which is a collection of columns he did for Bass Player magazine. Most are bios of individual bass players, with musical examples. Highly recommended to everyone interested in jazz, bass player or not.

Never heard the show before this one, but saw a recommendation for it on a comments thread on The Guardian's website (about a similar show on the BBC which they are ceasing to carry). Really enjoyed the show and will be back to listen again.
