I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Incredible. Where on earth would you hear a radio broadcast of the Songs of Milarepa. WFMU - thats where
  Fri. 11/19/10 1:31pm raga:

I only heard the Tibetan Buddhist Rites from the Monasteries of Bhutan when it was reissued on subrosa a few years ago and it immediately made it to one of my favorite recordings of all time. I wish more of Levy's work was readily available. As far as I know, it's not.

  Fri. 11/19/10 2:26pm Mary Wing:

My computer is purring, nice! Here, kitty-kitty...
Reminds me of when Bryce's cat crawled into the studio cabinets and wouldn't come out. That was a fun show!
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:27pm bryce:

hahaaaaa it's warm in there :)
Fri. 11/19/10 2:30pm dave in vermont:

i love annea lockwood!-havent heard anything by her in years-thanks for reminding me
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:31pm postmanpaul:

Hi Bryce, an ornithologist on BBC radio 4 slowed down a recording of a nightingale so that the human ear could detect each note; it sounded like a whale. I wandered if a recording of a whale speeded up would sound like bird song?
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:31pm Mary Wing:

Warm and wirey, yes.
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:33pm tim:

Did Annea have to go in the cage to record the tiger or did the tiger go to the recording studio?
Fri. 11/19/10 2:33pm Dead Corporate Eyes:

I have to turn this down a bit so people don't think I'm weird
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:34pm bryce:

me too
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:34pm Mary Wing:

Now my computer is making NSFW sounds, heh.
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:35pm Ike:

Studio cabinets?! At FMU?! Ha ha! Downside to cats -- not very portable! Too territorial.
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:36pm bryce:

ken brings his dogs
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:41pm Ike:

Dogs are portable. We need a new cat-dog hybrid. Cats' independence, soft fur, cleverness, dignity, and lack of slobber with dogs' portability and territorially adventurous spirit.
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:49pm Ike:

...but we'd probably just end up with a drooling obsequious pizza-stealing barker that hides in wirey cabinets, gets indignant easily, and smells horrible when wet, so never mind. ;)
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:50pm bryce:

you just described the fmu dj
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:51pm Mary Wing:

Heh! I saw some of those people at the record fair!
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:52pm tim:

oh boy! here comes the Bryce/Billy Jam transition. I look forward to it every week.
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:52pm BSI:

goddammit i miss my dawg now.
  Fri. 11/19/10 2:54pm bryce:

  Fri. 11/19/10 2:55pm bryce:

P.S. Especially loved those last two tracks, Bryce.
Fri. 11/19/10 9:46pm john in tacoma:

  Sun. 11/21/10 4:43pm Leech:
