I saw them and met them in 69 at a rock festival I was working at. I was 17. Nothing like Purple Owsley to enhance a memory :)

Bob Brainen has some cool 45s! I always thought the MC5's version of "Looking at You" cut in the '60s sounded more like a '70s track, while their 1970 version sounded much more '60s-ish... if any of that makes any sense.

Mike: that 1970 studio version of "Looking at You" is goosebumpy stuff, although overall the album (unfortunately) sound funny? flat? A lot of great songs though...

I always thought "Come On-a My House," not "This Ole House," was the song Rosemary Clooney didn't want to record. That's the way the story is usually told, anyway. Or do I have it wrong? (P.S.: Great show, as always.)
