Tue. 8/17/10 9:52am Cecile:

it was that dog on It's Me or the Dog a couple of years ago that was just mesmerized by a cupcake. He was an Aussie Shepherd and you could swear his eyes were pulsing with an eerie light.

HI Jason, I like this. My field of reference for similar contemporary music, however, is a little narrow . But Ghislain Poirier does it for me.

Tue. 8/17/10 10:40am annie:

present, sir!! please think about not dropping my test score by ten points for being so late...

Tue. 8/17/10 10:42am Cecile:

this toby dammit reminds me of chillout trip hop with a really mean, drug addled edge

Tue. 8/17/10 10:50am doron:

Tue. 8/17/10 10:50am jason:

doron, check out this incredible 50 track compilation from Sutemos http://freemusicarchive.org/music/AGFDelay/Intelligent_Toys_We_Make_Music/

Tue. 8/17/10 10:56am Cecile:

I have to ask. Why the fascination with many people with music made by modern religious cults or people emulating the former? It's kind of interesting, but a lot of it creeps me out.

Tue. 8/17/10 10:57am Cecile:

by many people I mean to write.

Tue. 8/17/10 10:57am Carmichael:

Punching in, my fellow work crew members.

@Cecile: laugh at the religious imagery, LAUGH I say!

Tue. 8/17/10 10:59am Cecile:

I can sometimes, Carm, but I'm also a little superstitious...

Tue. 8/17/10 11:00am Cecile:

Good answer, Jason. It still creeps me out, though.

Tue. 8/17/10 11:06am Noely-D:

I met the guys from Cave at the Legion in Calgary during the sled island fest! They were super nice. And they ripped it up a bunch of times over the four days of music. I have friends here who are hardcore fans and went to see every show.

Tue. 8/17/10 11:13am Mike East:

Great stuff!

Tue. 8/17/10 11:15am Cecile:

I agree. The kids are alright!

Tue. 8/17/10 11:20am postmanpaul:

Buddha's and 'caterpillar-type' monsters held aloft on sticks freak me out, they shouldn't but they do.
But druids are ok.

Tue. 8/17/10 11:28am Dead Corporate Eyes:

this band just played in CLE a week ago and I didn't know who they were...bummer!

Tue. 8/17/10 11:41am h.:

Wooo

Tue. 8/17/10 11:42am Mike East:

I must check these guys out the next time they're in town.

Tue. 8/17/10 11:55am Cecile:

Yeah, exactly.
