Yes i remember the limelight. if you leave,you must pay again to come back in...and after 1 small drink each,at $13?...$15?.($18?) each,we switched to water. that was $10 for a 8-10 oz poland spring !'twas beautiful inside(& out),and the acoustics were excellent. i may,coincidentally,have seen Kim Salmon there.(saw im somewhere)...An australian woman i dated in the late 90s' made mix tapes for me...she followed"solid gold hell"with Chrome Cranks- and another Scientists song w Lazy Cowgirls...but the Kinks do just fine! ...and this now is amazing!

The Limelight is now like an upscale multi-vendor market! God, that place was awful. But I did see some good bands there. I saw Kim with the Surrealists @ Brownies in the East Village!

when was that? Maybe i was there! (It was with the Surrealists)...'went to tons of shows in the e village from c. '94?-'99. (thinking i saw John Spencer at limelight...-which i didn't love,but the "sound"was good.) ...(& ,maybe Come...Wherever i saw them,i recall the show itself clearly- and everything about it was incredible!)
