  6:41am
HC:

Good morning Annie & HR. Tuff morning but I think I have a fever now.
  6:54am
annie:

  6:55am
sinister dexter:

  6:57am
Pieter:

Morning HotRod, morning all
  6:58am
HC:

Nah. From the music....
  7:03am
Cheri Pi:

Hot Rod! I've never tuned in before this early to your show, finally not missing the first half and it sounds amazing!
  7:05am
annie:

addiction, in this case, is a sweet thing.
  7:05am
Maestroso:

Good morning Ms HotRod,
nice eclectic mix this morning.
  7:10am
sydneysider:

hey, annie, still copy editing (or am I mistaking from the other night). it's getting very hard listening to all this talk of hot weather cos it's FREEZING here in the Sydney night... and I'm STILL working on Swedish sychronised swimming. and good morning to you, Ms HR, I'm liking the range tonight
  7:15am
Dancin' HotRod:

YEAH!
  7:19am
Hon from London:

Good morning Hot Rod! I finally got the T-shirt and your premium from this year Marathon this week, but your amazing CD has only 3 tracks on it, is that a tease? It works and I am here for more.
  7:19am
Dancin' HotRod:

Three loooooooong tracks!
  7:20am
sinister dexter:

hey HotRod ^_^~~ thanks to you ... Borgore's ice cream track is my new addition to the sounds that echo from my ice cream truck .... soooooo goood ^_^~
  7:22am
annie:

yeah SS- i finished generating the index and now i'm beginning to tackle his references/bibliography. it's a whole new world with internet information. any idea, btw, a good website which would help to guide one on e-book protocol?
  7:26am
sydneysider:

oh god, e-book protocol, I reckon you just establish your own. Chicago's still best, I guess, but there's this demeaning tendency to favour things which reduce the number of keystrokes. but hey, indexes are HARD. I heard an indexer once who described it as "riding the wild horse". I think she needed to get out more... or listen to Miss HotRod.
  7:29am
Lauren KM:

really liked the OOIOO track!
  7:37am
annie:

listening to this music is all that gets me hyped to do this work. the picayune nature deep inside me loved the indexing; making these arbitrary decisions which will live and which will remain hidden within the text.. i might have to see how other non-fiction e-books are laid-out. . the worst of your cold weather will soon pass, though, and you'll switch it up to our temps.
  7:40am
Topher:

Good Morning HotRod! All!

Some DJ Comrade eh? Please say hello for us next time you see him.
  7:40am
angelicaw:

Mornin' Hotrod, nothing better then waking up dancing!!!
  7:46am
sydneysider:

yeah, people think indexing is uncool, but it's POWERFUL. am getting out of here soon for Cuba which will be WARM. if we had some footage of HotRod's crazy moves in the studio, we could all dance along (which would help me keep warm...). Quote of the night: "Put this nose clip in your waistband so you’ll always have a spare."
  7:50am
Dancin' HotRod:

Do you like bass?
  7:50am
hamburger:

indexing not soul destroying?
  7:54am
sydneysider:

nah, you have to put yourself in the mind of the reader to consider what they will want to know. so it's a whole paradigm of the knowledge universe. or i might just be a megalomaniac, but a bass-loving one
  7:58am
annie:

tru dat SS- tru dat i'm glad to be familiar with the material enough to know what the reader might be seeking or want to know. i'm a bibliophile for close to 50 years, now, so i can dig the mentality; and this music doesn't do too shabby for a good game of go, either.
  8:04am
annie:

HOTROD!!!! i LOVE that photo!
  8:06am
sydneysider:

ah HotRod, not sure it ever got any better than this Roxy track...
  8:12am
annie:

alright, stepping in to the kitchen to finish installing this new faucet; y'all behave now! i'll pump the jam up so i can hear, but laptops ain't grand for loud, so hotrod.. ....turn it up slightly?
  8:18am
angelicaw:

Uffie's how I do it, pop the glock, the glock you pop!!!
  8:23am
johN:

what does he have that's making the bitches insane? A tonic?
  8:27am
krebstar:

@ johN: I believe what drives the bitches insane is a really fantastic chicken mulagatani soup recipe he found online.
  8:31am
johN:

And so begins my fascination for the mulagatani soup. I think I'll check online
