Listener comments!

  12:06pm
dc pat:

ok, question: are these guys serious or not?
  12:09pm
north guinea hills:

I don't believe they're serious, but I could be wrong. It does, however, remind me of many of those psyche bands from various cults of the 70's.
  12:10pm
dc pat:

if they're not, they put on a pretty good act.
  12:14pm
Liz B.:

I think Prince Rama is serious from everything I've heard. Doesn't really matter to me, I heart their music!
  12:19pm
Sean Daily:

Not even close to first comment! Woo hoo!
  12:28pm
dc pat:

once again I have to disagree Sean, I would say you're fairly close to the first comment.
  12:43pm
John:

My, Timeheater, what high frequencies you have! I think all of the small mammals have left the area now.
  12:44pm
dc pat:

back to Prince Rama: it brings up an interesting (to me) point, does the context matter or is it enough just to dig the music? Does it matter that Amanda was 10 when she recorded her masterpieces? I think Prince Rama's music is more interesting if they believe that crap.
  12:47pm
dc pat:

sorry, shouldn't have said, "crap"...
  12:51pm
Liz B.:

If Prince Rama are for real, it certainly adds to the intrigue, but I don't think it influences whether I like the music or not. Then again, if I knew it was all an act, I might just dismiss it as lame.
  12:55pm
dc pat:

yeah it's hard to say how much it actually affects your tastes... similarly, I always have to see what a group looks like. It's like wanting to know who's talking to you..
  12:56pm
max:

on the topic of price rama, it would be cool if you could play some more stuff off of that record, I was going to order it later today and wouldn't mind hearing some more stuff off it
  12:58pm
JT:

what's up with all the FMA plays today?
  1:02pm
CheriPi:

Prince Rama sent me a beautiful letter and an advanced copy of their new cd; they are truly the nicest people you'll ever meet.
  1:03pm
RISKY!:

GO LIZ GO!!!
  1:04pm
BT:

That Tonstartssbandht track sounded like it was Big Country's IN a Big Country looped and slowed down.
  1:04pm
Duke of Earl Grey:

That Tonstartssbandht was fine, fine, fine.
  1:04pm
Seth:

FMA rools!
  1:05pm
drunkengrass:

Do you have anything by Discount? I'd love to hear something by them.
  1:06pm
Skirkie:

I troll around the FMA a lot and Liz still manages to play great stuff I haven't uncovered yet.
  1:10pm
Liz B.:

BT, you are SO right!
  1:11pm
Maria : D:

Cat got your tongue?
  1:12pm
Maria :D:

There you are!! Loving the show.
  1:13pm
BSI:

...stupid bomb-scares...
  1:50pm
dc pat:

what was he saying? "Athlete's face"?
  2:51pm
Duke of Earl Grey:

Great show, as always.
  3:27pm
bradlea:

thanks so much for playing the klimperei, i'm going to buy that album now :D
