Listener comments!

Sat. 4/10/10 3:06pm Lex Dexter:

Hey Terre T,
I am a long-time fan whose taste in music owes a lot to you! A coupla weeks ago wifey and I flew from Detroit to Memphis to go see the Reigning Sound, a band I never would have known if it hadn't been for the attention that you, Evan and TBSOWFMU paid to 'em on the radio waves!

Anywho, the ensuing weekend - visiting Stax, Goner and the Civil Rights Museum in addition to finding foncy vegetarian food and hanging with FOTs - was a personal life-highlight, and would never have happened without your righteous radio program. I am thankful for it and for your existence on the earth!

Sat. 4/10/10 3:15pm curtis:

JJR.. Yessss!!!!!

Sat. 4/10/10 3:54pm Leo Buscaglia:

Great Dickies' track Terre!

Sat. 4/10/10 3:55pm Skirkie:

I mostly know Fabio for getting hit in the face by a goose while on a roller coaster: http://stingler.blogspot.com/2007/05/fabio-goose-dignity-best-picture-of-all.html

The goose died.

Sat. 4/10/10 3:56pm Listener Jumpy:

I've heard that about the men women like, too. I have a chance!

Sat. 4/10/10 3:58pm Listener Bill:

John Hamm? The Mad Men guy? Is he, like, a body builder? I think he's just in shape, or at least, not out of shape.

Sat. 4/10/10 4:04pm Listener Jumpy:

Woman mostly don't give a hoot about male bodies as long as there's no body order!

Sat. 4/10/10 4:05pm Listener Jumpy:

"body odor" not body order.

Sat. 4/10/10 4:13pm Mark:

Any chance of hearing some Dust today? Great band!

Sat. 4/10/10 4:16pm Bad Ronald:

Body odor in order.

Sat. 4/10/10 4:17pm Spoony:

Speaking of body odor, if you're into bearded Brooklynites playing sludgy doom metal, then you'll probably love 'Nam. They play with Early Man a lot.

Sat. 4/10/10 4:34pm Stoney:

ROCK IT, DAVID!!!

Sat. 4/10/10 4:42pm Ron:

There is no greater dj than Terre T. It is not even up for discussion.

Sat. 4/10/10 4:51pm kAREN:

wOW THIS BAND ROCKS!! Do they have anything out?

Sat. 4/10/10 4:54pm SueP:

kAREN - you can buy their self released album 2nite @ Union Pool

Sat. 4/10/10 4:55pm SueP:

No Pants Candace!

Sat. 4/10/10 5:22pm Christina:

Woo! Awesome bands and girls with no pants! Tonite is going to be fantastic!

Sat. 4/10/10 5:34pm Anonymous Tipster:

I think the name of the band The Above are playing with at Southpaw on 5/27 is actually "Jay Banerjee & The Heartthrobs". But what do I know? It's not like I'm Jay Banerjee or anything.

Sat. 4/10/10 5:40pm SueP:

Jay - You would know best. Consider yourself named checked.

Sat. 4/10/10 5:42pm Kyle F:

The Above are one of the best bands I've heard in a long time.

Sat. 4/10/10 5:44pm The Above:

Thank you so much for having us on your show today, Terre! It really means soooo much to us! Hope to see you down at Union Pool tonite.

Sat. 4/10/10 5:44pm Anonymous Tipster:

Thanks, Sue. But I'm not Jay...necessarily. I'm just an anonymous tipster keeping the New York Metropolitan Area music community informed of...um...band names. (Speaking of, I think Get Set is actually GeTSeT, but that's their own fault. They have great tunes, though.)

Sat. 4/10/10 5:45pm Anonymous Tipster:

Oh, and yes, The Above rock.

Sat. 4/10/10 5:46pm SueP:

OK, Anonymous Tipster! Thanx fer keepin things accur8.

Sat. 4/10/10 5:48pm Don (trip dub):

Anyone who has the guts to come out with Mordecai (Hezekiah and Matisyahu not withstanding) has got something he wants to say. I just don't know what it is.

Sat. 4/10/10 5:48pm Kyle F:

Hi Above. Can't wait for the show tonight.

Sat. 4/10/10 5:49pm matteo(rudie war):

ciao, thanx for this great show, The Above are great

Sat. 4/10/10 5:51pm The Above:

Sat. 4/10/10 6:03pm Listener Jumpy:

Great set from Above

Sat. 4/10/10 9:55pm loudabagel:

Wow, thanks for the airplay NYC! And Don, we (Mordecai) do have something to say, but it's for Freemason's ears.

Tue. 4/13/10 1:58pm Late to the party:

Longtime archive listener here, just weighing in on the "No one wants to hear you talk, Terre" vs. "We like to hear you talk, Terre" controversy. I love to hear you talk, esp. with Sue Per and Mike Sin. You guys are funny, and I like things that are funny. Plus points for contagious laughs. Okay, group hug!

Tue. 4/13/10 3:54pm Drumheadnyc:

Can't get Bollywood Woman out of my head! Hot set guys!
