the Ebony Sisters cut is much earlier, probably 1969; I have the info at home, but it's that early Studio One reggae sound with that "sound dimension" delay on the guitar. Not officially a Studio One production, btw - Harry Mudie was the producer.

no worries, Doug, I'll check it later at home. Mudie actually wrote down the literal dates of the studio sessions on some of his cd reissues. 1970 is in play, though '72 is a bit late.

I found a nice tea room in Copenhagen recently, above a shop that started up in the 19830s and has the status of royal supplier. Haven't tried Fortnum & Mason, though. Very upmarket, I suspect ... I merely peeked in for a bit.
