The girl's name Samara \s(a)-ma-
ra\ is pronounced sah-MAH-ah. It is of Hebrew and Arabic origin, and its meaning is "guardian or protected by God; night talk". The name of a Russian city. Samarra is the name of an ancient Iraqi city.

Powerful V I B E S

Nat:
The reason I started playing the Band is because the chord that comes before the chorus in each song is SAME VIBES! Otherwise it would just be Ian Matthews over and over.

I love WFMU so very much. On what other station would I hear the same two songs repeated over and over and be pretty sure it wasn't itunes acting up. And then go to the station's website and see the DJ assuring folks they just needed to feel the V I B E S. Y'all are the definition of amazing in the radio dictionary.
