  Wed. 1/20/10 2:16am Joshua K:

  Wed. 1/20/10 2:26am Marty:

  Wed. 1/20/10 2:52am matt:

good try. it's pronounced "tone starts bandit"

guys were up there just a bit ago with the pink noise i believe? canada represent!
  Wed. 1/20/10 3:10am marty:

oh . . .

that makes sense. . . . .

why do bands think its cool to make many words one word? it makes it hard for borderline illiterate dyslexic djs to announce their stuff on the radio.
  Wed. 1/20/10 3:18am helsinki fred:

greets from santaland !
  Wed. 1/20/10 3:22am matt:

maybe it's tawn-starts-bandit.
  Wed. 1/20/10 3:24am Marty:

  Wed. 1/20/10 3:30am helsinki fred:

  Wed. 1/20/10 3:34am matt:

yeah but only because i know what it's like. i just did a radio internship and realized that it's hard out here for a DJ.
  Wed. 1/20/10 3:36am helsinki fred:

Did someone say it's hard being a DJ? You play what you like to a sort-of-captive audience, what's not to like? I totally dig it.
Wed. 1/20/10 3:39am the pie lady:

peppermint oil! mice hate that shit
Wed. 1/20/10 3:40am the pie lady:

p.s. im glad you played some kitch.
p.p.s. the wait list for a steel pan made by my cousin was/is at least 2 years. so hm.
  Wed. 1/20/10 3:41am matt:

it's a blind and emotional medium. people sit in their radio like they sit in their bath.

peanut butter on spring loaded traps.
  Wed. 1/20/10 3:44am helsinki fred:

eh sorry what was that? I was posting some Chicago urban ambient (metro + street) 1h4m http://dl.dropbox.com/u/367739/Chicago-2010.01.06-Downtownward.mp3
Wed. 1/20/10 3:44am the pie lady:

  Wed. 1/20/10 3:47am matt:

  Wed. 1/20/10 3:51am marty:

Fred: Where is Jena. The Rondelles track was live in Jena, it says it's in Europe but where?

My mice dont seem to go for the pb, or the cheese for the glue traps, or the poison. but they do eat the fuck outa my bread, chips, soups in a bag, that are surrounded by traps. fucking bastards.
  Wed. 1/20/10 3:54am Bobby:

Brainwave... Get a pet snake for the mice to "play" with. Way better than a lump of fur. Don't ask how you'd get the snake back in it's cage, though
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:03am helsinki fred:

Moon tunnels? You means moon NAZIS! http://www.ironsky.net/site/ ("Teaser" tab) (a Finnish production!)
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:04am helsinki fred:

Jena's in Germany, west of Dresden http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Jena,+Germany&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=29.772081,56.513672&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Jena,+Thuringia,+Germany&ll=50.926999,11.587011&spn=2.957038,7.064209&z=7
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:17am Marty:

moon Nazis are scarry. All Nazi are scarry. The town I grew up in just south of LA had a HUGE HUGE HUGE nazi crowd.

thanks for the lesson in European geography!
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:18am helsinki fred:

You talkin' like Huntington Beach or Newport Beach? I heard they were full of frakkin' skinheads.
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:21am marty:

Huntington Beach. Yeah it was bad.
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:21am Joshua K:

Diarrhea.... IN SPACE
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:22am helsinki fred:

I lived out there in 1980. I really wanted to go to a Germs gig but the shit I heard about Darby and all the violence frankly scared me.
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:32am Marty:

I younger, they cleaned up some in the 90s. we still had to deal with alot of it. but word is all the heads they locked up in the 90's are starting to get out now. and w/ shit like it is over here in the states, they are getting more active.
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:34am helsinki fred:

There were some skinhead problems here in the 90s and some of the cops were in on it too but AFAIK it's been pretty well stamped out. Can't complain.
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:44am marty:

yeah the hbpd wasnt the most racially sensitive group of people. for us kids it was really the straight edge clicks that made shit safer for us in the parks and beaches in the 90's
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:48am helsinki fred:

For that L.A. feeling ya can't beat Repo Man. Did ya know that driving makes ya stupid?
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:48am Joshua K:

That SST comp sounds like its gotta be chocked full of awesome stuff. Was that ever re-issued on CD or anything? When I search for it I just get links to torrent sites.
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:49am Joshua K:

SSTCD-102... thats out of print too.
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:50am helsinki fred:

Hey that recent movie about the Germs -- "What we do is secret" -- I dunno how "real" it is but it's a pretty good flick. I like to play trax off "G.I." when I DJ, they're one-minute blasts of raw power
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:51am Marty:

Yeah it rules some serious BALZ. (its also where the band No Age took thier name from)
  Wed. 1/20/10 4:58am Emile:

What a cool track, Gestures... on Dischord, no?
  Wed. 1/20/10 5:08am Emile:

Could you repeat the URL for this Monster Muisk thing? Thanks.
  Wed. 1/20/10 5:08am helsinki fred:

i LOVE monster music. i love monster MOVIES.
  Wed. 1/20/10 5:20am marty:

nsom.dk is the website
(sorry about the mims lack of sleep sometimes impairs my better judgment. that was the worst dissension ive made in a while)
  Wed. 1/20/10 5:24am Marty:

re: Gestues it looks self release, there is no label name printed on it anywhere
  Wed. 1/20/10 5:34am Emile:

Thanks, Marty. I thought that Monster Musik thing was pretty cool.
I googled the Gestures thing and it looks like Dischord has issued it, too. In the tradition of the Snakes from the good 'ol dayz.
  Thu. 1/21/10 3:33pm Beth:

Being from Lansing, MI, I would be remiss not to state that the Dogs version of "Are You A Boy Or Are You A Girl" rips the face off this Rondelles version. Whoever hasn't heard it, should do so right now.
