Sat. 1/2/10 1:06pm Richie:

Dear Rex,
Please play something that will get rid of an unwanted house guest.
Thank you in advance,
Richie in Boston

Sat. 1/2/10 1:11pm Rex:

Unwanted house guest removal just happens to be my specialty!

Sat. 1/2/10 1:28pm Koko Bop:

Wonder if Rex can do something about this black mold that has invited itself into my abode.

Sat. 1/2/10 2:08pm Debbie D:

Rex, the Ichiban DJ contest ended last year!! Gary Levine was the winner of round one, but we'll do it again soon...Set to be posted soon.

Sat. 1/2/10 2:08pm Betty:

Some fine show. Blasting away here in NJ. Kids complaining. All is well.

Re. top ten list, #9 R&B Humdingers. The only place I see it on sale, Volume 3 only, is some German web site (http://www.soundflat.de/shop/shop.cfm?artnr=14224), which looks pretty interesting, BTW. Oh, just found one at UK eBay. Are these only overseas releases? If so, I'm not pleased that Rex would whet my appetite like this. What a tease!

Sat. 1/2/10 2:11pm Shim Sham:

Also Re: the Rex top 10 and his celebrating the Bobbettes singing the uncensored version of "Mr. Lee" at the Lincoln Center which caused me to wonder if Rex is aware of an extant recording of Little Richard singing the filthy version of Tutti Frutti ?

Sat. 1/2/10 2:12pm seang:

remember those Husky pencils? Pencil fights!

Sat. 1/2/10 2:14pm fred:

Richie, how did it go? Was the unwanted guest banished or did he/she gave in to the awesomeness of Rex and become a welcome guest in the process? Either way, Rex wins and a testimonial to this would be welcome.
Happy new year ya'll, by the way

Sat. 1/2/10 2:17pm Mike Sin:

Happy new year, Rex! Keep the year new and and shiny -- keep the 45s old and crusty.

Sat. 1/2/10 3:07pm Richie:

Ha!
You know, Fred, they aren't cool enough to understand just how good Rex's show is.
In fact, the last 2 hours have prompted them to, like so many others, try and figure out what's wrong with ME!
THEY listen to crap top 40 BS....and I have the problem?

Sat. 1/2/10 3:25pm barbara:

You played a song at about 1.20 - 1.25 pm before you talked about Russ and The Stingrays and Vince Murphy. The lyrics went like "I come from the wrong side of town..." I loved it but can't find out which one it was. Can you help me? Thanks.

Sat. 1/2/10 5:01pm fred:

Hey Richie, they're just square squared, so go figure... They resisted Rex' awesomeness, and that's a total indictment. No wonder they were unwanted. But their reaction was proof you were right from the start. Speaking of proof, I think your ordeal entitled you to a drink to your, your family's, and Rex's health for the coming year. I'll join you with a regular but awesome Laphroaig, not unlike out host come to think of it

Tue. 2/23/10 8:19pm Tom:

Like "Head Happy With Wine" ~ S. McGhee, what a title
