I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Funny, I was thinking of John Stevens, the reason being that I picked up on the BBC jazz board that Jeff Clyne, who used to play a lot with Stevens, has just died at the age of 72.

Clyne was never a regular SME member, but he's on the first Amalgam album and there's one called "Springboard" which I'm dying to hear, released in 1969 with Stevens, Ian Carr and Trevor Watts. The Amalgam is a beaut.
