Options November 16, 2009: Rihannoid Dubstep Meteor Shower Nightmare f/ DJ Set from Jon Hopkins, Eno / Coldplay producer

HISTORIC EVENING: The Most Fantastic Meteor Shower of our Lifetimes Begins Tonight at 4am Eastern

You might not know his name, but hey, have you ever heard Coldplay, Brian Eno, or Imogen Heap? Jon Hopkins produces for all of them, dropping his trademark futuristic electronic emotions into nooks and crannies that no one else really touches. Tune in to hear a DJ set straight from the deep, dark heart of his laptop. Jon's new album Insides is out now on Domino Records, and he's currently on the road with The XX and Royksopp, so watch out for him in a town near you.

Listener comments!

i thought i had heard that missy was working with either caspa or rusko on her new album, so i was kind of figuring she'd be the first american pop star to sneak some dubstep into her sound.... but looks like rihanna and chase + status beat her to it

  Mon. 11/16/09 11:03pm bennett4senate:

that idea of doing a show and then playing it backwards during the next person's slot is a cool idea - you could do mike breaks and speak backwards so that it would come out right when you were playing it back
  Mon. 11/16/09 11:10pm SPUDS:

If I do the $100 donation..any chance you can send me the ESCUCHE T shirt ?
