Listener comments!

  11:13pm
consuela:

foist the woist :p
  11:13pm
Mark from Pompton Plains:

You guys are funny, nothing wrong with just messing around for a dose, dose and a half.
  11:14pm
Hatch:

Well hello there.
  11:15pm
nec13:

What's up, Hatch?
  11:17pm
Hatch:

Good evening to you, sir.
  11:21pm
nec13:

I should tell my brother about this show. Old school hip-hop is all that he listens to.
  11:23pm
Hatch:

Hopefully I would expand his horizons to at least include... disco.
  11:27pm
nec13:

There's not much I can do about it. He's pretty stubborn.
  11:35pm
nec13:

Not many people here tonight.
  11:38pm
Hatch:

Yeah pretty dead comments section lately. Sunday nights were better for the virtual hang out. I'm just here in Jersey City, sipping my Sierra Nevada Anniversary Ale and having a swell time.
  11:40pm
steveroo:

hey hatch enjoying the opening setlist

do you have most of your show lined up before playing the tunes or do you skim through songs to cue up the next song

or is that like asking a magician; "how'd you do that?!?"
  11:44pm
Hatch:

Thanks Steve! Most of the time I know which song I'm going to play from each record that I bring in the studio, but I haven't picked out an order for them to go in. Sometimes I just think of something that would be good next and I run out to the library, like that Motorhead song.
  11:48pm
steveroo:

cool i always wondered how djs fill time in between songs.

your way sounds similar to my playing of records for fridays headach show i do for fun
  12:09am
steveroo:

what did you do for halloween?
was there less kids in your area out and about?
i think kids stayed in because of the h1n1 here on vancouver island. i went over to my parents place to hand out candy and i had about 7 kids only. which isn't too bad if you don't feel like getting up but i had awhole lot planned to scare the kids
  12:12am
Hatch:

I had to work all day and was exhausted. Went to see this crazy Japanese horror movie called Hausu at BAM. Criterion's putting out a DVD soon. After the movie, I just went home and went to bed.
  12:14am
nec13:

Hatch,

Speaking of Criterion. Did you hear about the 50% off sale at Barnes and Noble? It starts tomorrow and ends in two weeks.
  12:16am
steve:

was hausu the 70's movie or is there a remake of it?
  12:22am
Hatch:

Yes the 70s movie. God help us if/when someone decides it's a good idea to remake that.
  12:22am
steve:

way to go i was going to suggest something funky with good rythem or bongos
  12:22am
Hatch:

nec13, if only I could afford to buy even half-price DVDs...
  12:23am
clyde:

No More Heroes by the Stranglers
  12:25am
nec13:

I sympathize with you, Hatch.
  12:25am
Hatch:

You got it Clyde. That should go well with the Devo track I was planning to get to later...
  12:26am
nec13:

Hatch, have you heard that Nigeria Rock Special compilation on Soundways? If so, what do you think of it?
  12:27am
steve:

hey keep it fast pace and groovy i'm going to go run up and down my stairs for some exercise maybe isaic hayes?
  12:30am
Hatch:

I love all the Soundways stuff. I have a new Ghana comp from them to play at some point tonight.
  12:34am
stever:

  12:34am
steveroo:

  12:36am
Hatch:

I like to think of my show as being good for midnight aerobics.
  12:38am
steveroo:

is this played off the big single disco record?
  12:41am
Hatch:

Which, the Sylvers?
  12:43am
steveroo:

its nothing serious just me joking around with my vinyl
  12:45am
nec13:

I would like to get that Ghana Special compilation. Can't afford it right now, though.
  12:52am
trs:

I prefer to see young kids selling minivans. They're so convincing.
  12:56am
justin:

oh man, where is this speech from.
  12:56am
Bradford Eugene LaBonte:

Yeah man, fuck those fascist Nazi Buddhists
  12:57am
Hatch:

Brad, how did I know you'd show up if I played a YouTube rant.
  1:01am
Bradford Eugene LaBonte:

Gotta show support for offering a platform to those ignored by the MSM. You, sir, are a hero.
  1:03am
Hatch:

Gotta speak the truth and expose the commie fascist abortionist satanists, knowhutimean???
  1:03am
nec13:

  1:42am
