Hmm, not sure. Remember, Shorty Long did the original "Blue Dress," on Motown. This one's also from Detroit, around the same time...would have to do some research to figure out which came first.

So good to hear tracks by Otis Rush and Little Milton. How about digging out one of Lowell Fulsom's sides for Kent/Modern? Another bluesman on the soulful side of the street. As ever, great show Mr Fine Wine.

I admit I'm late to the game...just catching up with some home-dancing sessions....I am loving this one in particular. Otis Rush, Young Jessie, George Jackson. Thanks, FW, where would I be without Downtown Soulville on nights like this??? My neighbors may disagree....:-)
