Joe:
Yo we totally used to sing "No Pidgeons" in 7th grade when all the girls used to sing "No Scrubs".
"I gotta man" was also pretty popular for some reason.
Wed. 10/14/09 2:09am
Adam:
One more reason I'm glad to live on the west coast: I'm not sound asleep during WFMU's kickass Tuesday night lineup.
Wed. 10/14/09 2:12am

marty:
what track you talking about?
Wed. 10/14/09 4:20am
Joshua K:
I was eatin pringles and chocolate on alternating bites, I don't know if that was a good idea but it tasted good.
Wed. 10/14/09 4:49am
Syl:
I was just eating Nutella and sunflower seed butter on raisin toast.
Wed. 10/14/09 4:57am
Marty:
i just need something. but i think im going to have to wait an hour and get my usual post show meal at the flamingo, eggs over med. w/ bacon
Wed. 10/14/09 4:59am
Joshua K:
That place is hella low budget. I think I remember them not taking plastic when I went once so a friend had to pay for my meal.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:00am
Syl:
Marty, do you squish the toast into the yolks?
Wed. 10/14/09 5:09am
Marty:
Yeah the flamingo is very american, i feel like im a bon jovi video when ever im in there. always full of construction workers with air brushed hard hats. Syl the beauty of a good over med egg is that you can skawash some yoak, on the potatoes and toast so it soaks it all up. but w/ a good over med. is also some that is hard yoak that you can put on top of the toast. maybe w/ a little bacon. yum.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:15am
Syl:
Nice! I have to admit I'm a sucker for the sunnyside up. though. But yeah, any way you have your eggs, they're always better with bacon!
Wed. 10/14/09 5:18am
Joshua K:
I've been getting cans of beans from the UK and eatin them on toast with an egg over easy. The yolk and bean and toast all merge into one superfood
Wed. 10/14/09 5:21am
Syl:
Ah, you mean like those Heinz baked beans in the green can, like on the cover of The Who Sell Out?
Wed. 10/14/09 5:22am
Joshua K:
Yeah exactly. They import them from the UK to america and they are made by an american company. Pretty silly. They also have curry beans, that are in a curry sauce with raisins, thats a bit different.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:26am
Marty:
if you are going caned its all about goya beans. scramble an egg into come chorizo, roll that shit up in a tortilla. now thats the ticket.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:29am
Joshua K:
Hmm but which beans do you choose: black, pink, red
I am a fan of black beans.
I wonder if portuguese roll would work for making a torta, its relatively close.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:31am
Joshua K:
Well now its just an egg party.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:31am
Syl:
Hey Joshua, do the UK baked beans taste different from US ones? They have 'em in import stores here and I always wonder about them.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:33am
Syl:
Two eggs over easy between two pieces of white bread. Bite into it and the yolk squishes out the other end. Now THAT'S an egg party!
Wed. 10/14/09 5:35am
Joshua K:
Yeah they are just in tomato sauce. Less brown sugar or molasses or whatever. I bought a can to try em out, but I might order some on amazon since its way cheaper to buy a case of em.
Stop n Shop also sells crumpets you pop in the toaster and then butter them up and put a poached egg on top and you break the yolk and it runs into the crevices
Wed. 10/14/09 5:39am
Syl:
Oh, I should try 'em. I hate how sweet baked beans usually are.
OK, I'm starving now.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:41am
Syl:
This show is like a living, evolving entity!!
Wed. 10/14/09 5:42am

Wed. 10/14/09 5:49am
Enid Coleslaw:
Hey Syl, you should try Heinz Baked Beans instead of the US brands. They're in a tomato sauce so they're more tangy then sweet. I tried B&M after eating Heinz for years and was amazed at how sweet they were. It's the molasses I guess.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:54am
Syl:
Yeah, I think I'm gonna finally break down and buy a couple of cans. Beans and toast, here I come!
Wed. 10/14/09 5:55am
Joshua K:
What the heck... You can order custom ketchup bottles:
http://www.myheinz.com/bottleselect.asp
Wed. 10/14/09 5:57am
Syl:
Hmm, they're actually not too expensive either. Unlike that bacon lip balm.
Wed. 10/14/09 5:59am
Joshua K:
Have a good eggs... i mean day.
Peas out.
