what a change from do or diy show

that is why i like this station

Wed. 10/7/09 8:19pm From: Ken From Hyde Park

For sure. I thought to myself the other day that on the typical commercial station, you know the next song is going to be one of the thirty or so songs on their list, but on WFMU, not only you don't know what the next song will be but you don't know what genre, language, instruments, ... anything. It's a total grab-bag.

Wed. 10/7/09 8:24pm From: Souleater

do you like the Beatles?

Wed. 10/7/09 8:26pm From: simulatedstimuli

I hate The Beatles

Wed. 10/7/09 8:31pm From: Wm.

Many of us started our great journey into popular music with The Beatles, myself included; the difference for some is that we've MOVED THE FUCK ON.

Wed. 10/7/09 8:32pm From: SiHV

Noise! Glad to see you're still on the schedule for Fall, Wm. And Diane is back. Metalheads ruling 'FMU?

Wed. 10/7/09 8:32pm From: Souleater

The Rolling Stones are good too, why don't you play some of that?

Wed. 10/7/09 8:32pm From: R ! S K Y

Wed. 10/7/09 8:36pm From: Wm.

Wed. 10/7/09 8:37pm From: Souleater

However, not much of a Black Sabbath fan.

Wed. 10/7/09 8:56pm From: Wm.

@fatty -- Me, too...but I guess he prefers to hammer the playlist from home under an assumed moniker....

Wed. 10/7/09 9:00pm From: Souleater

Jed probably quit after Wm decided to keep him off the air a while after calling him his co host for 12 weeks, for asking a question.

Wed. 10/7/09 9:01pm From: Souleater

But, he probably regrets making such a rigid decision and wouldn't mind being there for Litergy

Wed. 10/7/09 9:02pm From: Wm.

Enough insider twaddle and bickering ... here's a pic of Runhild, the singer from Thorr's Hammer:

Wed. 10/7/09 9:05pm From: Wm.

Souleater --- Tell Jed he's welcome to come back to the Castle next week. Write the message on a note, fold it 100 times, and drop it from a helicopter over Brooklyn, thanks.

Wed. 10/7/09 9:05pm From: SiHV

Wed. 10/7/09 9:16pm From: Wm.

I tried to go to Fatburger last week on the way here, even called ahead. The lady said, "This is the last day of Fatburger Jersey City; we're closing at 5." So at least, um, Souleater, got to have one.

Wed. 10/7/09 9:18pm From: Wm.

Download the album at this link to try --- but buy it if you really like it!

Wed. 10/7/09 9:29pm From: c lav

That was the audio from the trailer to "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things." movie from '72.

Wed. 10/7/09 9:33pm From: hayleyjane
