Did the liner notes on the Breeders album just say the names of the writers of that song? I think I remember wondering where it came from exactly when I used to listen to that album all the time in high school.
I used to find a lot of new music through liner notes back then, just by reading credits and thank yous.

Indeed! I wondered about it for years, and Googled the writers periodically, but never knew the band name, or even realized it might be by a band. Finally got intense about the search terms last week and figured it out for real.
