Annie, I finally found 5 ladybugs for my indoors jalapeno plants that were infested w/ aphids, but that all ran away w/o partaking in the feast. luckily, a spider took about 1/4 of the aphids. also, vinegar and water worked a bit. thanks again.

ngh: great you could stem it! sorry the ladies flew.. i found a few roaming around my garden, but they would have missed their jobs here.. next year, you can buy them refrigerated... keep them cool till you want them, then let them loose in the garden.. lots of places sell them... and praying mantis egg sacs too

Thanks Annie & dc pat, every time the plants flower, the aphids destroy the flowers, so, i've yet to have any of the plants fruit.

I use the 128 stream on the same mac every day, never gives me a licko trouble, so I'm not bitchin' too badly. As long as it comes back eventually...!

Seems OK now. ... though it was weird: is there a time-lag between 32 and 128? I stopped 32 & went to 128 and it seemed like I went from Maria's announcement to the tune already started.

Hi Doron and Maria, The 128K WFMU and Ubu streams weren't working, though the Ichiban 128K stream was. As of 10 minutes ago or so all are OK.

I have a CD with the unencouraging title The World of Drums and Percussion and an even less appealing cover. It's fantastic. If you like what Maria is currently playing, it's worth checking out. Might be out of print, but if you see it second hand, snap it up.
