Raising the acoustic guitar to epic heights with a minmalist approach seems to come easily to Alexander Turnquist. Musical landscapes pour from Turnquist's fingers, embelished with light touches of strings and electronica. A second album, "As the Twilight Crane Dreams in Color," has just been released by Alexander Turnquist and he brought a fine ensemble in to perform some of his atmospheric compostions live on WFMU. |
