yea i'm seasonal. agreed though. new movies seem to have a sort of corrupted sensibility to them. i'm still happy to watch them, but they are too perfect. it bothers me.

once in a while a decent horror movie will pop up. i thought the descent was good. so was high tension. it's rare nowadays though, most of the best stuff came from the 70's and 80's. does anyone have any suggestions of good horror from the 90's to present?

Tonight's Grasshopper set will be available as mp3s in late September on both WFMU's Beware of The Blog and WFMU's Free Music Archive. Until then, the archive of the broadcast is streamable. ANTS -- I think the music bed you refer to was either from the Fiend soundtrack (see the My Castle of Quiet blog for more info: http://my-castle-of-quiet.blogspot.com/2009/06/screen-audio-captures-of-day-fiend.html ---If not that, it was the DVD menu (on a loop) from the Fearless Vampire Killers, complete with flapping bat wings.... Torbjørn -- more about Obligatorisk Tortyr: http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=5761 -- the CD I played is from 2000. Of course, I'd love to have them on! Hails to all for listening!

During the interview with Grasshopper, we are talking over a loop from the DVD menu of Incubus; the one with William Shatner that's in Esperanto.
