Jesse, what exactly is a frow show anyway?

My first show was on a closed circuit "radio" station at my high school. One day, during an all-bluegrass set, some thuggy dudes (after pounding on the door) slipped a note under the door reading, "This music sucks, cut the frow...," misspelling "'fro" (in reference to my soon-to-be long hair).

Now it all makes sense... The dictionary says frow is an alternate spelling of froe which is "A cleaving tool having a heavy blade set at right angles to the handle"

It looks like a sickle but with straight blade at a right angle.
