Rex,
Can you tell my cousin Beatrice that I'm sorry for what I done. Ever since "the incident" she's been keeping Aunt Maybelle's lemon icebox pie recipe from me and I just can't make it through the summer without one of Auntie Maybelle's pies.

Rex--
real quick (just got in)....the Serenaders cut you played last week may have something to do with the B'way play 'The Pajama Game' which I believe opened in '57.

I would like to know where the band the Chessmen are from that play Bird Train? My father was a sax player for a band by the same name who played a song call Bird Train. They had a couple of records and that was one. Looking for info please....

Wed. 11/30/11 1:55am Mike nelson:

Im on the web searching for info on The Chessmen" I came across a 7" 45rpm record from them on Riot-Chous records # 877T-2656. One song is Lucille (which i've seen on LPs by them). The other side is "I just lost the girl I love" I've googled ("the chessmen" + "I just lost the girl I love") with not a single page on the internet. Does any one have any info on this one? Year? 1960 im guessing.
