Sun. 6/28/09 9:47pm fmuidiot:

Alright. Most of your accusations are true. I thought I was doing pretty well. What was the tip off?

Sun. 6/28/09 9:47pm Ike:

Nifty Delaware song. That's a good one play while driving over the C&D Canal Bridge on toll Rt. 1.

Sun. 6/28/09 9:47pm texas scott:

mathematically intoxicated.

Sun. 6/28/09 9:49pm the man:

chuck berry is the man

Sun. 6/28/09 9:51pm Ike:

Now you just need a Maryland song and/or a Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel song to link the Delaware song geographically (via the Delmarva Peninsula) to those Norfolk lyrics.

Sun. 6/28/09 9:52pm phil:

i wanna be your herf baby, i wanna be your awkward html error

Sun. 6/28/09 9:53pm Barkeep:

We barkeeps live and die by remembering customers. :-) I wouldn't have guessed just from this show, but I also recall your prior appearances. :-)

Sun. 6/28/09 9:54pm dunn:

missed the first hour. family guy, you know.....

Sun. 6/28/09 9:54pm Family Guy:

He wanted to hear the "Bag of Weed" song again. :-P

Sun. 6/28/09 9:56pm wow...:

What year is this Guess Who?? 66-67??

Sun. 6/28/09 9:56pm meth lab:

Another geographic reference: Cleveland!

Sun. 6/28/09 9:59pm G:

It's the second cut on the Guess Who album where "These Eyes" is the first cut.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:03pm Dan Meth:

Wheatfield Soul is the title of The Guess Who album.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:06pm fmuidiot:

Barkeep. Where do you work? In case we cross paths, Blue Point Toasted Lager is my beer of choice.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:06pm Barkeep:

I work everywhere. It's like wireless drinkmastering.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:07pm ye interwebs:

Wheatfield Soul is the first Guess Who album, early 69, a year before American Woman.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:08pm ?:

It's always the radishes and daggers. Always!

Sun. 6/28/09 10:09pm Barkeep2:

And bleach. Any good bartender knows about bleach.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:11pm groupie:

I love me a bleach and tonic every now and then.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:13pm Ike:

But what happens if the scorpions get into the radish liquor? Or was it scorpion liquor? Don't let the scorpions brew their own beer!

Sun. 6/28/09 10:29pm fmuidiot:

Barkeep. I am guessing that the next time I post, you will assume I have had a few beers. Weather this is true or not. Thanks for the profiling.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:31pm Mr Spriggs:

You damn hippies! Ya'll know my meat falls off the bone, come n' get sum

Sun. 6/28/09 10:32pm Ike:

Dan, people around here ARE "making their own radio stations," particularly in Flatbush, Paterson, Newark, the Bronx, etc., often interfering with legit stations (even sometimes FMU), and that's why it's bad. The FCC can't keep up. It's mostly overmodulated Haitian shouting and Caribbean and Latin sounds. And one Slovak. When they mess with FMU's signal then I really wanna go put some scorpion-flavored radishes in their sorrel drink.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:44pm fmuidiot:

Ah... Mr your post was a little disturbing. If it is what it sounds,, than great. If it needs more explanation now is the time to give it.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:49pm ?:

OK. Folks, we have a little over an hour left of Stochastic goodness. The only question to ask is this: If an idiot speaks in a forum, and nobody pays attention, does he/she really say anything? This lovely show is too short to entertain agitators.

Sun. 6/28/09 10:50pm Ha!:

Stochastic Beth, meet Dave the Spazz :-P

love that ? and the mysterians organ work!

Sun. 6/28/09 10:52pm G:

Sun. 6/28/09 10:52pm Mr Spriggs:

Sun. 6/28/09 11:14pm gerardo:

congrats for the +1 hour long :)

Sun. 6/28/09 11:51pm gerardo:

the name is pronounced /oogo feelio/, the album sounds something like /para'eeboo/, and the song should sound like /valsee para fa'breechee/

Sun. 6/28/09 11:54pm ooooooooo:

Shot down on the air, dude!!!!!

Sun. 6/28/09 11:56pm ???:

Sun. 6/28/09 11:56pm Francophone:

I thought Iggy sang in French.

Sun. 6/28/09 11:58pm Francophone:

I thought Iggy sang in French.

Sun. 6/28/09 11:59pm Awkward Moment:

ooooooo was referencing a certain Awkward Moment on the air, if you missed it, well...

Tue. 6/30/09 10:11am Paul:

I must confess that 'Quark, Strangeness and Charm' had a little corner in my heart for the past 30 years. Then I heard again just now and I thought 'Oh No!', but perhaps that frees the space for something else!

Wed. 7/1/09 10:47pm Jon:

50% more later in the week.

Wed. 7/8/09 12:08am P.S. Mueller:

Thanks so much for playing Laminations a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely amazing! You're the best.

Pete

Sun. 4/25/10 2:40pm Gregory:

Sorry to post this a year late, but one possible correction. Bethany said that the difference between the Stones' and Beatles' version of "I wanna be your man" is the difference between Mick Jagger and John Lennon. However, wasn't the Beatle version sung by Ringo? (A: Yes, Wikipedia tells me it is so, and so I believe.) It had that 4-note range that was Ringo's sweet spot.
