I don't want to celebrate Bill's leaving ("It's no good" as Burton Burton Cummings has said) but I am grateful a station exists that attracts DJ's of his caliber.

Hi Bill,

Happy Endgame!

Sat. 6/20/09 2:39am From: Bill Mac

Morning gents..... just wanted to say thanks for the notes and stuff.. I promise not to be a stranger... already have tentative plans for a fillin around August.. more to come before that I'm sure....

Sat. 6/20/09 2:48am From: Joe

Bill, dude!

I do hope you enjoy your warm summer Saturdays, even though Friday nights will be much weaker without you.

I will be very interested to see what kind of sick fill-in shows you put together.

Take that gas money you're saving and spend it on a case of your beverage of choice, sir! Cheers!

Sat. 6/20/09 3:19am From: Bill Mac

Joe,
Yessir, it'll be a bit of a stretch between shows, so yeah - like lancing an overripe boil. I expect I'll be around a lot more than I let on, but just the same, not being a regular tends to leave things up in the air. No matter! Time to soak up sun and quaff lovely tonics!

Sat. 6/20/09 3:57am From: Steve

Well, by George, I discovered Bill by his willingness to play my gold standard - Frank Vincent Zappa; the social commentator of America's underbelly.

Give "You're Probably Wondering Why I'm Here" a spin if you have the time.

Sat. 6/20/09 3:59am From: Bill Mac

Yay Steve! I'll see if I can find something that doesn't skip!

Sat. 6/20/09 4:23am From: Larry

'something that doesn't skip?' Well, I guess, there goes my request for something from Michael Flatley and Riverdance!

Sat. 6/20/09 4:23am From: tim
