Playlist for Bryce - June 12, 2009

Fridays Noon - 3pm on WFMU 91.1 fm 90.1 fm wfmu.org

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

Fri. 6/12/09 12:26pm perrin:

there is music for mono, stereo, quadraphonic, but what about music for tri-speakers? I like the number 3.

Fri. 6/12/09 12:31pm Bad Ronald:

Eno Ambient Music:

Fri. 6/12/09 12:31pm mister.matthews:

Brian Eno's ambient 4 album tells how to connect a third speaker, in order to egt a quasi surround setup. I did this many times years ago and it works quite well with such music.

Fri. 6/12/09 12:32pm bryce:

wait, there is one! sort of.

definitely seen instructions on records imploring the listener to attach a 3rd speaker, with one lead to the left, one to the right or somesuch. yarp, this is gonna kill me. thanks, perrin!

Fri. 6/12/09 12:32pm Marshall Stacks:

Greetz 'n' groats from the California Central Coast!

Fri. 6/12/09 12:32pm Bradford Eugene LaBonte:

Bryce, I always trick myself into thinking that the guy on your playlists page is you, and that you wear that device during your show.

Heeere's Johnny!

Fri. 6/12/09 12:47pm zoot:

Poot Linnaeus died in a ditch. He originally wanted to classify everything on earth and divided things into three Kingdoms: Animal, Vegetable, and Mineral. His system of three (see how threes keep coming up today) lives on only at the beginning of the game of Twenty Questions.

Fri. 6/12/09 12:47pm bryce:

hey, carm!

Fri. 6/12/09 12:47pm still b/p:

Oh-ho. Linnaeus. He is very funny in the Peanuts comic strip.
Buy no meal, gnome in clay, sure.

Fri. 6/12/09 12:48pm annie:

i working with linnaeus today, trying to identify a plant.

Fri. 6/12/09 12:50pm bryce:

hey, how is that 4 x 8 x ?

Fri. 6/12/09 12:51pm Marshall Stacks:

Linnaeus also came up with the "Is it bigger than a breadbox?" question. So he's got that going for him, too.

Fri. 6/12/09 12:52pm Carmichael:

I'm enjoying the irritating noise. A throat-singing mashup would be a treat, for both me and my dog. Maybe I should dust off Tractor Pro?

Fri. 6/12/09 12:53pm Carmichael:

I mean, so I can make my own mix.

Fri. 6/12/09 12:55pm still b/p:

Or as Carl would say, "Is it bigger than a cubicum loafus?

Fri. 6/12/09 1:05pm Parq:

Fri. 6/12/09 1:33pm bryce:

Fri. 6/12/09 1:34pm Carmichael:

Somosas .... It's almost time for lunch.

Fri. 6/12/09 1:40pm Marshall Stacks:
