Thu. 6/11/09 12:08pm From: Carmichael

Any set that begins with a song called Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! will be a great set.

Thu. 6/11/09 12:10pm From: orzolino

morning scott, what's going on? too hot? looks like you're sitting on the deck

Thu. 6/11/09 12:10pm From: BSI

Any ANYTHING that begins with RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! is a great thing. I reckon.

Thu. 6/11/09 12:12pm From: G

two nn's in Millennium. I checked a couple of websites, and they aren't misspelling it (on purpose) or anything. (Like that Millenium Hotel across from the WTC does.)

Thu. 6/11/09 12:18pm From: Ike

Love this! Entrancing!

Thu. 6/11/09 12:18pm From: Scott

G, that's just too much. That's how it's spelled on the album, what, you want me to say "sic"? I don't say "sic"

Thu. 6/11/09 12:18pm From: Cinque

Backwoids!

Thu. 6/11/09 12:20pm From: G

hmm, apparently some of the websites that list that track "correct" the spelling!!! document as is, natch.

Thu. 6/11/09 12:25pm From: Carmichael

G, instead of websites, why don't you look in the dictionary? Just sayin' ....

Thu. 6/11/09 12:26pm From: m

i own a jad fair album that has a piece of paper saying "all out of large bongwater shirts -- Medium ok?"

Thu. 6/11/09 12:29pm From: G

Carm, in a dictionary it's with two nn's, though I didn't look. Didn't have to. Millenium is an accidental or deliberate variation. Just sayin...

Thu. 6/11/09 12:29pm From: Jamie

Where can I find more stuff by Alex Dunbar?

Thu. 6/11/09 12:36pm From: Ike

Speaking of broken hearts, the new summer schedule is out: Fabio and Billy Jam and (um) the Listener Hour (ahem) and Brad and some others aren't on it. I hope they'll be back. But hooray for W. Berger and David S. and Lupica (web-only) returning! And Bethany has three hours again! Nifty.

Thu. 6/11/09 12:36pm From: Scott

Jamie, you can check his website, lotta great art too:

Thu. 6/11/09 12:37pm From: Bad Ronald

No Billy Jam? DAMN!!!!!

Thu. 6/11/09 12:38pm From: Carmichael

Man, this dude sounds like Joe Tex! Ugh!

Thu. 6/11/09 12:38pm From: Parq

It was mentioned yesterday in a palaver between Ken and Kenny that the latter will be taking the summer off, and Maria L will be taking the slot. Bad news and good.

Thu. 6/11/09 12:44pm From: rada

I can't tell when you're telling the truth

Thu. 6/11/09 12:45pm From: Parq

Okay, checkin' it out. Good: Bob B back on actual airwaves, Hatch back (if late), Keili moved up a little earlier. Not so good, but whaddaya gonna do: Fabio and Kurt taking sabatticals, Irene shrinks a bit, Brad goes back to school. Let the summer commence! Maybe the weather will follow suit.

Thu. 6/11/09 12:53pm From: BSI

Thu. 6/11/09 1:00pm From: Ike

Thu. 6/11/09 2:01pm From: survivor

how does one get rid of those annoying love handles?

Thu. 6/11/09 2:05pm From: Scott

Art! Welcome back, great to hear from you. Digging this rather funky jam or what?

Thu. 6/11/09 2:11pm From: Art

Whoa, is The Sperm my favorite new band or is Finnish psyche simply my favorite new genre???

Thu. 6/11/09 2:28pm From: doug from dc

Now this is a fairly early Caetano album that I've ignored, and now it seems unjustly so. This rocks more than the earlier ones.

Thu. 6/11/09 2:33pm From: Scott

Doug, if you can find this Caetano album, it's a total mindflayer in every way!! It's from '73, the cover is the best album cover ever, every track is incredibly strange. it's his "experimental" record, and it's brilliant. And it rocks rather hard in places, as you see. I think there's a CD reissue out there somewheres.

Thu. 6/11/09 2:36pm From: Matt

The notekillers kicked so much ass the last time I saw them.

Thu. 6/11/09 2:37pm From: Lucy

is it weird / totally off that i thought this might be the Talking Heads at first? does it sound a little alike to anyone else?

Thu. 6/11/09 2:41pm From: steve

there the vocals...but usually not too much

Thu. 6/11/09 2:52pm From: Cecile

I had to do pandora for a while, not 'fmu's fault, just needed some soothing music for a project I'm trying to finish.

This is great stuff rifght now.
