Morning, Annie! I am quite bummed about leaving, believe me. Heading off to law school at Berkeley, so I might try my hand at KALX out there in order to keep my sanity.

annie:

Adrian in London:
So what sort of lawyer are you hoping to be? An evil corporate bod or an evil entertainment lawyer trying to shut down FMU? Was it Boston Legal that gave you the bug?!
|

Bradford Eugene LaBonte:
Different lifestyle, indeed! I'm stocking up on my shorts, sunglasses and laid-back vibes for the move. I'll keep y'all posted about future radio-ings. - next week's show is the last regular one, and I'll be in NYC until August, so I hopefully will be able to pop back on for a fill-in or two. Adrian - I'm not sure yet, but I might not even have the choice to be evil: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/06/07/nyregion/07law.html?em Helping people and stuff might be the wise business decision!

i subscribe to the indybay rss feed, great left-coast news and info regarding political action and the arts. i'd love to see the lawyers gang up against monsanto, but a great majority of them are already bought and sold by that monster.

Bradley, Boalt Hall ain't chicken feed, so you must have some pretty good creds. It's too early in the AM for eloquence, so for now I'll just say good luck and miss ya.

Bradford Eugene LaBonte:
Thanks, all! Adrian - that track is crazy, probably my favorite over-the-top track of all time. He's just so earnest about that playground. So, so far, my options are: evil corporate, evil entertainment lawyer that shuts down FMU, mob lawyer, or guy that helps people. Any other suggestions?

Government work. Get in with the right agency and you can do good *and* get more days off than any of your friends.

Tom:
You could always go my route and be a mediator. No, it's technically not practicing law, but you'll actually help people more... and judges will give you cases because you're a lawyer. Feel free to e-mail me.

Noooooooooo!!!!! Sleep is evil!
|
Mon. 6/8/09 8:27am
Bradford Eugene LaBonte:
Thanks so much, Tom. Sleep IS evil, but the fun is in the struggle! Annie, I can see e-mail addresses if folks have entered into the field and can send out an e-mail, but the easiest way to keep abreast would be the Facebook/Twitter route - facebook is m'name, Brad LaBonte, and I JUST joined Twitter a week or so ago - twitter.com/bradlabonte.
