i wrote on a subway poster once. Never looked back. Maybe theres a warrant out for my arrest. Ill plead diminished capacity (I was drunk) If they havent found me by now they never will. Another time i didnt have a life vest on in a small lake - you gotta believe I never paid that.

becareful w/ the warrants man thats what happened to me got the ticket for riding on the side walk then never paid then doubled up on the turnstile, 10 min later i was in cuffs. 38 hours later i got outa jail. Who else has got a jail story?

I spent 12 hours cuffed during the 2003 Iraq protests. I was 16, about 5'6, 140 pounds... you'd have thought I was a linebacker when they took me out.

Marty, that story made me sad. How absurd is it that not only can' you ride on the sidewalk (which I always do to avoid getting hit by cars) but that they'd actually persue it and hold you captive.
At least you got a good theme for the show tonight.

And I didn't even get arrested. And they weren't even real cuffs they were the fucking zip ties. It sucked.

Also, DJ Screw died from sizzurp. Thats right, the guy who invented chopped & screwed died doing what he loved.

never mind. i got crunk on it after drinking $1 beers all night at a coolio/tone loc concert at the race track in LA. and then fell asleep driving home. totally dangerous

as BrycePunk noted above - at least you got an inspired theme for your show....but at such a cost.....And how fucked up is the whole situation? Totally.... I know several other folks in NYC how have gone to jail for the weekend (a common BS move by the NY po po) over similar small level offenses (including lots of weed stories). I sent a check once after getting a ticket for not having validated my newark subway ticket ($71 fine) but they never got it, then they put a warrant out cause I didn't show up. Had to go down and spend 4-5 hours waiting to be called just to pay the ticket and then pay extra fees to get the warrant lifted. Couldn't sleep after I got that warrant notice, was afraid I would get pulled over or something and get busted.
