So far so good. You are setting the perfect mood for this evening.

Sun. 4/19/09 12:17am From: D. Blumin

Tanks, Pearly! First warm one of the year - if you're in or around beautiful Jersey City that is...

Sun. 4/19/09 12:22am From: Pearly Sweets

I've got the champa blazing and the lights down low. Just laying on the couch with a puppy at my feet taking in the sounds. I'd gladly exchange some of our humid days for some of your chilly days.

Sun. 4/19/09 12:32am From: D. Blumin

Where you listenin from, Pearly?

Sun. 4/19/09 12:33am From: Pearly Sweets

Those greater than one reissues are stellar.

Sun. 4/19/09 12:46am From: Pearly Sweets

They were like art of noise's evil twin. Goatee and all.

Sun. 4/19/09 1:00am From: Mad Dog

Ooooh Courtis/Moore, tasty. Now all I got left to request is some TG (in honor ov) and maybe some Glenn Gould, why not?

Sun. 4/19/09 1:09am From: D. Blumin

So we have dogs and puppies + their owners tuned in! Where the cats and the lizards at?

Mad Dog! Why not indeed! How was the Gristle?

Sun. 4/19/09 1:13am From: Mad Dog

So good, it was. Tiny intimate venue (Le Fission Red), thee band was red hot, Gen was crackin jokes. What a nite!

Sun. 4/19/09 1:21am From: D. Blumin

The Question is - did they or did they not play Hamburger Lady???

Sun. 4/19/09 1:22am From: D. Blumin

And what about that Nico material? Did they do that?

Sun. 4/19/09 1:23am From: Pearly Sweets

One would hope!

Sun. 4/19/09 2:29am From: philly

Sun. 4/19/09 2:33am From: D. Blumin

Sorry to hear that, Philly! Hang in there... Unless, of course, you were referring to the music!

Sun. 4/19/09 2:49am From: muhrvis

Sun. 4/19/09 2:55am From: muhrvis

i love the "ethnic exotica" on those sublime frequencies releases

Sun. 4/19/09 12:25pm From: Mad Dog

They did play Hamburger Lady! The horn that Gen blows between the verses, produced the exact sound you hear on the record (like a call-to-prayer voice, combined with an ambulance siren) making us wonder does he keep that horn in a trunk with a tag labeling it "for H. Lady" or can you get that sound at Sam Ash? Amazing rendition, in any case.
