bryan:
i've only listened to hymnprovisations but daniel seems like an intense guy. this is pretty different from what i've heard though.

bryan:
i really dig the mathematician-driven electronic/oscillator/moog/whatever stuff you find on these shows. it just works so well for the hours of three to six in the morning

Mon. 4/13/09 3:42am
joshua k:
That page says "for 4 channel tape", does that mean theres a quadraphonic/surround sound type recording?
|
Mon. 4/13/09 3:48am
jj.:
Bryan: thx. Believe me, it's just as weird & quiet over here as it is wherever you are. Joshua: not sure, actually. I assumed it meant for, like, a four-track tape deck, but that could just as easily be "performed" in four channels. Hmm. Not sure, though.

bryan:
wait, mickey hart like the GD drummer?
|
Mon. 4/13/09 3:50am
jj.:
Yeah! Believe it or not! I'm obv. a GD fan, but Mickey's stuff usually isn't my bag. Almost never, in fact. This is from '83 and is pretty heady.
|
Mon. 4/13/09 4:02am
joshua k:
Yeah it does sound like he means 4-track. 4 different components all mixed together into one sound file.
