I think that this is the best radio name ever.
|
Tue. 3/24/09 12:58pm
Parq:
Everything I've looked at indicates that this Nick Cage movie is an adaptation of the original Sorcerer's Apprentice story, familiar to most people from the segment of the same name in "Fantasia". I am trying to figure out how a hip radio station fits into that story. WTF?
|
Tue. 3/24/09 1:00pm
G:
Someone, maybe mgr. Ken, was saying on the air last week that in the film FMU is standing in for WNYC, or a station similar to NYC.
|
Tue. 3/24/09 1:02pm
Pearlÿ Adonis:
Yeah. They are making it super hip. As Ken said last week the main character is in love with a woman who works at a radio station... and I guess that is why he wants to learn magic to impress her. As magic always gets the womens hot.
|
Tue. 3/24/09 1:04pm
Parq:
And a WNYC station figures in the Sorcerer's Apprentice story? Oh well. Hey, I've got an idea. How about a movie in which a young naif is terrorized by an apparition of giant, menacing teeth? We could call it "The Sorcerer's Dentist".
|

fuckthecondofucks:
We dispatched a pair of Savage Detectives to the Whaling City this past weekend in search of information regarding these elusive Condo Fucks. Not only does there appear to be no-such-Condo-Fucks, it appears that this elaborate ruse was nothing more than an opportunistic attempt by a desperate band from Hoboken, NJ to tap into New London’s true-blue cred. Shame on you, Yo La Tengo! Long live the Whaling City! Fuck the Condo Fucks! fuckthecondofucks.com
