Listener comments!

  9:25am
Bäd R☺nald:

Hey, where is everybody?
  12:26pm
Billy Jam:

What up Bad Ronald. What up Jersey. Thanks to everyone who supported WFMU during the Marathon. Really appreciate your financial support of this 100% listener supported station....>>Meanwhile this show is dedicated to the NJ resident George Chase who passed this week and whose funeral service is tomorrow. You probably don't know him but he was the father of a dedicated longtime WFMU listener LS Monkey who wrote me a couple of days ago to say of her father, " I wanted to ask a favor if you could dedicate a song to him? His name is George Chase and he was also an artist, teacher, sailor, great cook and great dad. He taught film and annimation at Columbia High School in Maplewood NJ. My little sister Abby sent up a website for him
http://www.waiteforme.com/
He loved to share stories and this is a place to share stories about him."
At some stage in our lives we all lose someone we love, oft times a parent, and no matter how prepared we think we will be for this inevitable moment it is always heart-wrenchingly difficult. But ultimately the whole sad experience (which heals with time) only makes us stronger individuals, and more appreciative of life and those we love who are still with us. Rest in Peace George Chase.

Sail on, George. By an unfortunate coincidence, a dear friend of mine also just lost her dad, after a long, hard road. My friend doesn't dig this kind of music, but I hope vibes from this show are going out to her all the same.
  3:14pm
Cecile:

Hola, bill.e.jam!

Yay, azeem!

RIP George, there is a special, extra-nice place in the hereafter for cool dads such as yourself.

wOrd 'em up, folks. First Friday in a long while where I'm not gigging so I get to hear this live rather than archived. I shouldn't have worn shorts today, the cold breeze on the looong cycle home was chilling the jewels a bit too much.
Missed the B+ interview - damn, now I gotta hit the archives again.

What a beautiful day, in this neighborhood.
These beats are massaging my [how does this keep happening] broken vertebrae so sweetly. One hour left to stitch up the spooky leather sacrolumbar dungeonwear.. . might need to hit the archives to get it done. Yaaay, archives. Yay, all those Sunday night mousies, squeaking out that Billy was the only Jam worth Flippering for... ok, that failed. But srsly: your Life was Magnificent.
