LB & BT on the same time ! Does it get better than this on a snow day NO ! Do I need that 52" TV to watch crapola bigger cable crapola ? NO . Do I want WFMU for this year and next and the year after ?? This is a no brainer.
  12:36pm
Parq:

Can't believe how long this Plastic Bertrand hit has been around.
  12:37pm
Hugo:

Hi Liz B.

Listening in from Berg(en).

Kinda punkish vibe to this show. So here's a little request which might fit in: Paris Maquis - Metal Urbain, first ever release on Rough Trade. Bought it at the store when it came out.
  12:40pm
Carmichael:

KING KHAN!!!!!! Now we're f$^&*@*&ng talking!!!!!
  12:41pm

  1:14pm
I'm Gigante:

Hey Brian and Liz
you've convinced me to buy a cow T shirt!
love GiganteSound. ps:how can you not like WFMU?
  1:15pm
Ike:

PostmanPaul, the way you phrased it during BW's show, it sounded like it was only a $15 pledge. I think you confused everybody. All pledges include everything at the lower levels in case you didn't know. Every pledge of $50 or more gets a T-shirt *and* everything at the $15 level too.
  1:22pm
postmanpaul:

cheers ike :)
  1:22pm
BT:

funny you mention Primavera.... stay tuned ;)
  1:24pm

Carmichael:

OK, the MS e-mail alert niose on this song is driving me nuts.
  1:31pm
Joe:

This is an excellent song in which to embed asubliminal "Pledgy pledgy pledgy" type of message.
  1:35pm
Cecile:

Lexy Mt. Boys song is based on a goofy old 70s novelty hit.
  1:40pm
gerardo:

do you remember the name of that hit, cecile?...
  1:42pm
Cecile:

Gimme Dat Ding by the Pipkins
  1:45pm
Carmichael:

Way to go Gerardo! And also thanks to the KDVS dude out in Davis!!
  1:47pm
Carmichael:

Good Lord, Cecile. Why even mention a song like that? Great, now that's in my head for the rest of the day.
  1:47pm
gerardo:

thanx, cecile, i'll look for it!

  1:49pm
Cecile:

If you pledge a mouse of today pleage, they can bill you monthly.

I don't even notice $36 a month. I've spent more on less valuable stuff.

Just sayin'.
  1:52pm
Stannerlee:

Way to go Cecile. A dollar a day. Value for money or what!! End of story
  1:54pm
HotRod:

Swastika Eyes by Primal Scream next? :)
  2:01pm
Liz B.:

Thanks for pledging everybody, keep those dollah billz rolling in!
  2:02pm
Cecile:

Do you guys have "Cash Money" by Prince Charles and the City Beat band? It's got the greatest chorus - "Pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters/Dollar bills! Hundred dollar bills!"
  2:03pm
gerardo:

i see your point, cecile - when my folks here like a song, they play it till you end up hating it... just like in commercial radiostations...

gracias a uds., liz ;)
  2:07pm
Parq:

Some day years from now, when FMU plays that thing from "Juno", it will be a Moldy oldie.
  2:07pm

  2:52pm
Mark:

I tried to make a pledge from here in Moscow, Russia, but it wouldn't work. Sorry. No online credit card payment system likes payments from Russia. Maybe I'll figure it out later. Good luck to you.
  2:54pm
Liz B.:

Mark, you can pay by paypal, too!
  2:55pm
Ike:

Uh oh, the levels of spam and fraud coming out of Russia are probably screwing you up, Mark. You could just choose the "bill me later" option though! You don't have to pay now.
  2:58pm
Mark:

Yes, I know, but my paypal account doesn't work due to me not being able to do all the confirmation stuff I'm supposed to to activate it, which is basically down to me being in Russia, as well as my lack of orgnanisation.
  3:01pm
Greg:

NOBODY BEATS THE LIZ!
