Bennett4senate (or others looking for a soak): there are tons of baths around NYC and the boroughs if you are there. I've been to one called Inspa in College Point with a free shutle from Flushing Queens. Then you may not even need a plane ticket (since everything is already in NY).

cool Phil - i was looking online, I found this 24 hour spa in Koreatown (can't remember the name though). Think I saw the ad for that one in College Point - is it worth the trek? I don't really have the $$ for a proper treatment, just looking for a private hot tub.

it's a korean spa, 5 floors or something like that, $30 for all day. the free van shuttle picks up near the 7 train stop. here's an article about it. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/11/fashion/11inspa.html. that's how i found out about inspa, thru a NYT article. i don't work for them, i swear! fun with groups or by yourself, great way to "get away from it all" while still being in the city. plus, you can't beat flushing for eating when you get out though they have food there too.
