(no idea sponsored the soccer team i managed back then since half of the team was on the label....)

but, we would get a lot of nyc hardcore bands playing in my friend's living rooms, etc...

This all reminds me of my youth in the late 80's and early 90's. Northeast CT had it own little hardcore/punk scene with the bands playing at Studio 158 and the El N' Gee, etc. Man, do I miss that.
